(Lookie, another one shot!! This is in Michael's POV (again) and it's based on what he thinks of Mahone. (Take's place when Michael locked Mahone in that cage, and when he set off the propane)

----------------------------------

Agent Alexander Mahone

His smile is sinister. It always has been. Since the day we came face to face with each other, when I locked him in that cage.

He only smiled once, enough to show what I'm up against. Even his words show hat and craziness. It's mostly in his eyes though.

One look and I feel his gaze pour inside of me. His gaze taking in the hidden pattern of my tattoo. He probes my mind,

taking what I know and fixing it for himself. A sinister yet smart man. Though one step behind me, he always catches up.

Locking him up was my lucky chance, but even with the threat of propane my life was at stake. One shot, we both die.

He knew the consequences of the shot, but his eyes had that look. The look of surrender or die. I didn't surrender, but I didn't die.

His craziness never let him pull that trigger. I walked away, as he sent threatening words at me. With them I knew he would be behind me.

Taking my twist and turns.

Placing his feet in my steps.

Seeing and knowing as I do.

Agent Alexander Mahone will always be there

Like a shadow, that I will someday fear.
