I Am Watching You (part 2)

"Where did you go?" asked Kayara when I went downstairs again.

"Nowhere in particular," I answered. Lying to Kayara did very little good; she can get inside my head and know exactly what I am thinking. Which gets annoying from time to time.

It is that power that sets us apart. Well, maybe not. It is the fact that we are triplets (me, Kayara, and Harry). We have certain powers that Voldemort heard about when we were born, which is why our entire family is dead. Because of us. I found this out a few years ago, but I haven't told Kayara or Harry. I really don't feel like telling them. They have hard enough time as it is.

I was walking to class the next day when Malfoy started up his incessant teasing again. "I have a family to go home to over the holidays. I heard you, Avivia, don't even have Muggles any more," he sneered in my direction. I turned on my heels. That power I had mentioned swelled up. I remembered briefly the "No Magic in the Halls" rule. Instead of cursing him (which most people would do) I simply threw my books down and slugged him. You see, triplets aren't just good at magic. Whatever they try, they are fairly good at it. Including physical fighting, my favorite. When Malfoy had recovered from the K.O. I had just given him, he noticed my moonstone, glowing at my neck.

"Wass that?" he slurred. "A moonstone? Where did you get one? Did ya steal it?"

"No, actually. Unlike you, I am sure, I came upon this quite legally. It was my mum's. You wanna make somethin' of it?" I asked, menacingly. Usually, it is me that is trying to keep Harry and Kayara out of fights, but now Harry had to drag me off Malfoy. He told me later that it wasn't me he was worried about, it was Malfoy.
