The Greatest Nightmare
I slowly opened my eyes. I looked around at my surroundings. Chains hung from the ceiling. Pipes were across the walls and over my head. The room was damp and cold. only light was from five red light bulbs strewn across the room. I started walking. I came upon a furnace. The furnace was dark and cold. I heard a noise behind me. I turned towards it. As I turned towards the noise, I felt a blast of hot air behind me. I jumped forward and nearly fell into a large metal pole. I heard laugher. This was laughter. This laughter could terrify the bravest and strongest men. I turned towards the laughter, but as I did it stopped. There was no one there. Then I heard another noise, and this one was the worst one yet. It sounded like fingernails on a chalkboard, only a thousand times worse. I quickly turned towards it and caught a glimpse of a shadow that looked like it belonged to a man. Then, the man came into view. He was about the average size of a man, but some of his details were – inhuman. His skin was terribly burnt. He wore a red and green striped sweater, a dirty brown fedora hat, and a dirty brown glove with long, metal, claw-like blades attached to it. He smiled showing his crooked, yellow teeth. He started walking towards me. I met his eyes, they were glowing red and showed pure evil. He grabbed my hand with his hand and put his gloved hand on my back. He brought me close to him, leaned down, and kissed me. I closed my eyes. I was so overwhelmed that at first, I didn't know that he had stabbed me in the back with his blades. And, even though I knew I was dying, I was happy because, I knew I would be with him forever.
