Extra Prompt: "No one mourns the wicked."
Morgana stood by Cliodna as they watched the witch-hunters tied up a seemly distressed young woman, who screamed and pleaded for her life. When in reality she enjoyed it and it sicken Morgana and worried Cliodna. This was the forty-seventh time and Morgana was fed up. She was disgusted at her friend for taking this as a joke. Innocent children and Muggles were being killed and Wendelin was taking pleasure out of this.
"Morgana what are you doing?" Cliodna demanded.
"Teaching Wendelin a lesson." Morgana hissed.
She muttered the counter-spell of the Flame-Freezing Charms that was currently on Wendelin. Before Cliodna could figure out what Morgana about this, she heard a bloodcurdling scream. Cliodna turned to see that her friend was actually burning and she covered her mouth in horror. Wendelin struggled against the ropes that held her to the wooden stake. The pain was nothing like Wendelin ever felt before and she screamed and cried as the flames ate away from her. She searched out in the crowd and locked eyes with Morgana, her first friend. And she screamed for her. Morgana did nothing but stare coldly at Wendelin. That's when she realized that this was Morgana's doing, she was the reason why she was burning. Then the hatred and betrayal came and Wendelin's last words were: "How could you!? I was your friend! Your friend!"
And Cliodna stood there unable to say or do anything. Wendelin was gone from her very eyes and she did nothing. She had allowed her to be taken away by the flames; she had allowed Morgana to take away her only protection from the five. Cliodna allowed her friend to die in the most painful way, and she turned angrily at Morgana who was still staring at where Wendelin had been.
"How could you do that to her!" Cliodna screamed, "She didn't deserve this!"
"She had to learn that this wasn't a joke!" Morgana screamed back. "This is serious Cliodna! People are dying and she was doing this for fun."
"But she understood the moment she was set on fire!" Cliodna protested. "Why didn't you save her then?"
"She needed to die."
Cliodna stared at her friend and realized for the first time that there was something wrongwith Morgana. She was trying to justify her reasoning for letting Wendelin die, which was the only way to teach the young redhead a lesson. That she had to lose her life.
"You're insane." Cliodna hissed, taking a step back. "You're a murderess, you killed our friend. You're a monster."
Angry tears slipped down Morgana's face and her hands began to shake, "I don't need this from you. She deserved this, she did this to herself!"
Then she was storming away from Cliodna, leaving the woman stunned. Before she knew it, Cliodna started to cry for Wendelin. Her grieving was short lived by a tapping on her shoulder, she turned around to face one of the witch hunters and anger bubbled within her.
"No one mourns the wicked," he told her.
She stared at him for a moment, before calmly saying, "You're right."
Before whipping out her wand and uttering the words, "Avada Kedavra."
