A/N: Short prologue is short. The chapters will get longer, I … that dumb 'you are my sunshine' song makes me cry.

Cosmo curled up in the corner of the dark room, shaking as he cried. Wanda— where was she? He needed her. He was alone, and it was terrifying. He wished he were home, or at least Wanda were there with him, so he wouldn't be alone.

"Get up." A voice said.

"I w-want Wanda," Cosmo managed to choke out. "I want my wife… wh-where is she? Where's Wanda? Where is she?"

Someone kicked him. "I said get up. She's not here." The voice said.

"Wanda!" Cosmo yelled, curling up again. "I want Wanda!"

He screamed as a fistful of his green hair was grabbed. The voice growled "Get up!" again and yanked him to his feet.

"I'm sc-scared. I just want W-Wanda." Cosmo whimpered. "Please, I n-need her!"

Magic handcuffs were snapped on his wrists. They negated his magic, so he was forced to walk, rather than fly.

"Maybe we'll let you see your wife again if you don't put up a fight." The voice said.

Cosmo was pushed forward and was met with a horrifying sight. It wasn't just him. All the fairies had been enslaved. Fairy World had been overtaken. Anti-fairies and pixies were flying rampant through the streets.

Then he caught sight of Wanda and Poof nearby. Wanda was also in magic chains, holding Poof. The fairy baby seemed scared, and she was trying to comfort him.

"WANDA!" He yelled, running toward her.

"Cosmo!" She gasped. "You're alright!"

"Dada!" Poof chimed with a little smile.

"I was so scared, Wanda!" Cosmo said. "I thought I was gonna die, and I didn't know if you were okay, and Poof, and…"

"Alright, family reunion's over." An anti-fairy grabbed Cosmo and started pulling him away from Wanda and Poof.

"NO!" He yelled. "Please, let us s-stay together! Please!"

Wanda and Poof stared at him, tears in their eyes, as they were pulled away in a different direction.

Cosmo was thrown into a small cell and locked in. His hands were still bound with the chains, blocking his magic, so he was powerless. He collapsed onto the floor and started to cry again. He took in a deep breath and tried to hold back the tears.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine… you make me h-happy, when skies are grey," He sang quietly. "You'll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my… sunshine away…"

And then he failed to hold back the tears any longer and burst out sobbing.
