Death at bay
Buildings crumble to the ground
People wailing all around
Finding shelter all too late
As they climb onto deaths gate
Sobbing is heard miles away
About the tragedy at the bay
The smell of fire burns the air
Says the awfully disgruntled mayor
Children huddling in groups are all you see
Beyond the dreadful misery
Suddenly a ray of light
Sends a flurry of a fight
Men are shouting
Women are running
Away from the shallow caskets of death
The smell of beef
Makes the children drink in the scent
Like it was meant to be
One little child all alone
Thinks of his parents while he's blown
Across the gate of death
To find his family thinking of him
He meets his parents back in heaven
And smiles because he is finally with them
Back on the shores of life he can see many will join him
But not with a smile but a grimace
