My third response to the challenges made by the super great Masako Moonshade! I hope this one is good!
Disclaimer: I don't own Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: The Legend of Aang, the clever A-T-L-A titles, this challenge, or the "Avatar's Guide to Problem Solving"... You'll all find out why I put that there. I also don't own Masako Moonshade herself.
Aang sat on a tree branch outside their house in Ba Sing Se. He looked up at the skies, the stars twinkling beautifully in comparison to the velvet-like blue of the night. Somehow, his thoughts drifted from the sky to a certain girl in the Earth Kingdom...In this city...In this Ring...In that house...Okay, he was thinking about one of his comrades, now stop pressuring me!
I wonder how she feels about me... Kinda hard to tell when it comes to her...What do you feel about me To-
"Hey Twinkle Toes! Whatcha doin'?"
"TOPH!" the Avatar exclaimed, falling off the branch in surprise. He quickly airbended himself before he hit the ground, then flying back up to the same branch where Toph now sat.
"What's up, Toph?"
"Us." she said quietly.
"Wha?" he asked, a blush crawling up his face.
"I'm the blind one here, but I can definitely see that we're high above the ground, Twinkle Toes."
"Oh..." Not quite the answer he was hoping for...
"Hey Aang, I really like this one person, but... I don't know what he thinks of me. What should I do?" Toph said quietly.
"Why are you asking me this? Shouldn't you consult the 'Avatar's Guide to Problem Solving' for that one?
"I would, but Masako's been getting too many to answer mine. So I decided to ask you."
"Oh. Well then, Who is it?"
She mumbled something that sounded suspiciously like 'Aang' and some other jumbled up stuff.
"What was that, Toph? I couldn't hear it."
"I like you, Aang."
Aang was stunned. The girl he liked, actually liked him back! Suddenly, a cold, blue thing whizzed past them and into the clouds. After the surprise, Toph grabbed onto Aang and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Don't worry Toph, I'm here." he said, trying to comfort her.

Down below, Katara watched the two younger kids in satisfaction. She just knew that throwing up that ice disk was a good idea!
"Good. Now all I need is to get Zuko to climb a tree with me, and Aang to throw up an ice disk..."
I hope you all liked that! I couldn't resist putting in the "Avatar's Guide to Problem Solving" somewhere in there...
