Title: Just Like Balloons

Author's Note: This is just a very short one shot that might not make much sense to you. Please read and review. Thanks.

Please. Just one little breath.

Ryan was slowly fading away.

He painfully looked into his brother's eyes.

Only this time, his brother was the enemy.

Ryan's vision began to blur.

His heart beating less frequently.

He knew he was approaching the end.

Images began to pass before him.

Times he and Trey had shared a few beers together.

Times Trey had encouraged Ryan to steel some much needed cash from the corner gas station.

He remembered all the times they had fought.

All the times Trey gave Ryan advice on how to pick up women.

All that didn't matter.

Ryan was dieing.

And his brother was the one killing him.

Ryan heard the door swing open and saw a tear-stricken girl enter.

No! Stop it! Get off of him!

It was to late.

Ryan's heart stopped beating.

His mind blank.

Marissa screamed, grabbing the gun she saw on the floor.

She pulled the trigger.

Bang.

Now, they were both gone.

Their souls floating into the sky like two balloons let loose.

And somewhere on their journey upward…

Their strings became entwined.

End.
