Disclaimer: Alex and Olivia aren't mine. So sad.
This takes place during the time Alex is in Witness Protection. Hmm . . . what do you call it when it's shorter than a drabble? A/O, of course.
Alex sometimes turns up her air conditioning, even in the winter, so that she can bury herself under layers of warm blankets and feel perfectly comfortable. Blankets have always made her feel secure. But, while it makes her feel a bit better, blankets are a poor substitute for the one thing she really wants. Nothing in the world can compare to the blanket of safety she used to feel when she was in Olivia's arms.
Review if you enjoyed this shorter-than-a-drabble piece!
