Feliciano sat on their bed, his knees tucked to his chest. His twin brother, Romano, came into the room to hand him a plate of pasta. "Fratello?" Feliciano had whispered but his brother could hear him just fine in the silence of their room.

"Yeah, Feli?" Romano looked over at his brother, wondering what was going through his head now. He wasn't usually this quiet or still, especially when there was pasta in the room. Or house, for that matter.

"Is what every one says true? That we're the weakest?" Feliciano still hadn't lifted his head, and Romano could tell that was because he had his eyes open - something that doesn't happen unless he's thinking seriously or is upset. For now, it was both reasons.

The older twin frowned, looking at his plate of pasta as he thought of a response. His features hardened. "No. They couldn't be more wrong."

"How can you say that, fratello? We can't fight like the others can. We can't do a lot of stuff that the others can.."

"They're still wrong." Now Feliciano was just confused. He lifted his head, revealing the amber eyes that shown just like his twin's that were jade.

"I don't understand fratello.." Romano stood up, setting his plate to the side with disinterest. His face was serious.

"They're wrong because we're stronger than every one of them!" When his brother tilted his head to show that he still didn't understand, Romano flashed his rare, wide, confident smile. "Feli, what are we?"

The younger twin blinked. "We're human, fratello."

"Not that! What ARE we?!" Feliciano sat for a moment before answering again.

"We're Italian."

"That's right! We're Italians! What do Italians have?"

Feliciano shifted where he sat, sliding his legs down as he didn't hold them to his chest any longer. "We have spirit."

"And?!"

"We have stirpe and famiglia!"

"That's right! Now.. what do WE have?"

Feliciano laughed happily and smiled as wide as his twin, pounding their fists together in understanding. "We have each other! And no one can take that away, not even God himself!" They nodded in sync, laughing together as they shared the moment, knowing they could always stand by each other like this. No matter what happened.

When one of them got knocked down, the other would stand him up.

When one of them fly too high, the other would bring them to ground.

When one of them was lost, the other would find them to show them the way home again.

No one else had that, and that made them strong. Stronger than anyone else!
