I know I said in 'Deadly Love' I was going to write a story with a good mysterious, romantic plot for Romeo (Robin) and Juliet (Starfire), but I couldn't help myself with this one! I was just thinking of this episode and wondered why wasn't this plot thicker…or whatever you wanna call it.

Just read. It's kind of hard to explain…if ya know what I mean…

Disclaimer: What do I tell you people every single time? Well, if you were not paying attention, I don't own them. So please stop mocking me! But…I do have a jolly rancher…why do I do that? Every single disclaimer? Always with those delicious, tasty, mouthwatering, little nuggets of pure goodness.

Okay, now I feel like a real idiot.

Starfire walked into his room looking for an explanation. All she wanted to know what was going on. As she walked past the walls with vile pictures of the criminals they've fought, his words raced through her head.

"Who's Slade? No Starfire. You almost got hurt today and I don't want that to happen again. What are you planning Slade? I'm always ready." Haunting voices of Robin. She knew he was only trying to protect her, but when he got into his Slade trans, it was just plain scary.

Starfire walked over to his desk layered with newspapers with pictures of villains, his weapons, some villain's weapon's, and a little silver ball. Starfire picked up Robin's bird-a-rang. Half of its wing was broken off.

"Where have you gone Robin?" She asked out loud to nobody particular. Then Robin walked out of his closet. He had the Red-X costume on and the mask was under his arm. Starfire looked at him. Robin looked at her and immediately stopped short.

"Robin? How could you? But why? Why did you not tell us? Why did you not tell me?" She cried. Robin put his hand out in front of him like he was trying to calm her down.

"If I told you and the titans, they would have held back on me. Starfire, I'm trying to get closer to Slade. I feel like I am going to get the jackpot on this. He's buying me little trick." Robin said in a pleading tone.

"I am very astounded. Very disappointed and astounded. I am just very uncomfortable having this conversation with you." Starfire whispered. Robin walked closer to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Starfire. You are my best friend ever. You trust, help, sooth, and care for me and I do the same for you. And I know if you really think about this, you know I'm making the right decision, and that you will do your best efforts to help me in any way possible." He said. Starfire looked at his hand that was glued onto her shoulder. She closed her eyes and bit her lip in deep thought.

"Please Starfire. Keep it a secret. Don't let the others find out." He begged. Starfire finally opened her eyes and looked Robin right in the eye.

"Okay. You are truly correct. You are my best friend and much, much more. I trust, care, and love you very much." She said with a tinted smiled cemented onto her face. Robin had a sly smile on his face too. He was also a little surprised at the last thing she said. Starfire leaned over and kissed his on the cheek then slid her lips over to his. She quickly broke the kiss.

"Your secret is safe with me Robin." She said. They smiled at each other one last time, and then hugged. Starfire watched Robin slip the skull mask onto his head.

"When this is all over Robin, promise me you'll never wear that costume again!" She joked. Robin laughed and Starfire did too.

"I promise." He replied.

I know, short, but I thought it was quiet sweet. Like sugar…but most of all, like a jolly rancher. Lol. I really need to stop doing that.

Anyway, review and read my other stories. Okay, wanna know why I just say that (And I'm talking to all you bored people out there…), then go read Deadly Love. It'll explain it at the end.

So please review! I live for them.
