Come to the dance we step in a circle
Dance to the earth and your soul attune
Come with a sing for the love of the Mother
Sing with the voice of the rising moon
Come to the dance we do for the Old Ones
Dance into space and time apart
Send up the call to those who will hear it
Arise all you of the Pagan heart

He liked the nooks and crannies of the Dark City. He knew each and every like the back of his hand. It had taken him the better part of his first year here before he had the city memorized. Even so, one certain back alleyway was special, it was his. The way that light could cast shadows on the wall was magical, it reminded him of the caves in which he used to hide as he practiced the Old Ways. A small fire was all he needed to be content and to slip into that primal state. Occasionally, Number VIII would join him, celebrating the Old Ways they once shared together, but oft he was alone. Of course, that suited him just fine.

Xemnas liked the sound his boots made as he roamed the streets of the Dark City, the hood of his Organization Coat drawn up around his face. Whenever he needed to clear his head, he would roam the city. His very presence sent Heartless scattering, so he had no worries about being attacked. Besides, no being besides the Nobodies of Organization XIII and their allies dared step foot in the World that Never Was.
His quiet solitude was broken when he noticed the glow coming from an alleyway. Raising an eyebrow in curiosity, Xemnas began to walk down the alley. He went slowly, as to muffle the sound of his footsteps, wanting to catch whatever it was at unawares. As he approached, he could see a dancing shadow cast by firelight against the wall of a building. He slowed down even more, coming to a stop and standing up against the wall, hoping not to be noticed.
The dancer casting the shadow was too wrapped up in his own world to notice Xemnas as the man crept closer to his prey. Upon seeing who it was, Xemnas couldn't help but feel the expression of question rise on his face. Stealthily, he approached as the dancer turned around, one arm extended. Carefully, he captured the wrist of his dancer, staring into the surprised eyes of his Luna Diviner.
Saïx blinked in shock a few times, his breathing heavier than usual due to exertion and surprise. He had stripped off his Organization coat, undershirt, and gloves, only in his pants and barefoot. Xemnas tilted his head, slowly letting go of Saïx's wrist, taking a respectful step back.
"Sorry, I did not mean to intrude," he said softly, surprised by his own memories of embarrassment that welled to the surface. As quietly as he came, he turned to leave Saïx to his performance.
"My Lord…." Saïx stated softly, taking a step forward and taking Xemnas's own wrist, pulling him back. "You don't… you don't have to leave…. Dance with me?" Xemnas looked over his shoulder. Saïx's eyes were begging him to stay.
"If your gods do not mind one un-initiated in their ways joining," Xemnas replied, turning back around to face his Diviner. Saïx smiled softly.
"They do not mind," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper. Saïx took Xemnas's hand, pulling him more into the large alcove, placing them both so their shadows were cast upon the wall.
"Follow my lead, but think not of the next step, think only of this moment." Saïx quietly instructed, stepping close to his Superior, neither able to keep their hands off the other.

Away we'll go to the rhythm of the pounding night
So we flow from darkness into light
We may dream from awakening into trance
So it seems as we all come to the dance
