I, sadly, do not own LOK. Enjoy!
Mako POV
"Hey, Korra. You're early for once," I said, watching Korra walk in and throw her stuff down on the floor with vigor.
"Uh.. you okay?"
"Just dandy," she snarled.
I held my hands up. "Whoa.. I didn't do anything."
Korra sighed. "I'm sorry. It's just... stupid Tahno and his stupid hair! Thinking he's better than everyone!" She threw fire from her fists.
"Korra, calm down."
"...Sorry."
I sighed. Korra was always upset anymore.
"Korra...?" I called in the attic, searching all over.
"Korra! Where are you?"
Suddenly, an Equalist hit me in my side, blocking my chi. I groaned in pain, not able to move. I growled.
"How did you get in here?" I yelled.
"The little Avatar opened the door when I knocked. Her pretty little face was in shock when I punched her, then made her black out. We drug her out to the river," he replied smugly. I started seeing red. And it wasn't blood.
"Where is she?"
The Equalist shrugged. "Who cares?"
I narrowed my eyes. "Me."
I could finally move again, and I shot flames at him. He fell to the ground and I ran out, towards the river.
"Korra!" I shouted.
"Korra!"
"M...M-ako...?" I heard her say weakly. I ran towards her voice, finding her lying on the ground. I kneeled beside her.
"What happened?"
"I.. I don't remember.."
I sighed, picking her up bridal style and going towards Air Temple Island.
Korra POV
It's been a week since I was attacked, and I still can't remember what happened. Thankfully Mako told me.
I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the floor. There was a knock at my door.
"Come in."
"Hey.." he trailed off.
"Hi Mako."
I sighed. I needed to learn.. wanted to learn.. I needed to defend myself.
"Mako.. can I ask you something?" I said.
"Sure."
"Will you... teach me to.. bend lightning?"
And... cliffy :D I am so evil XD Hope u liked it.
