*A/N: Hiyo! I've been an inactive little bugger, haven't I? Well, school's out now and I don't have to worry about grades and such so I should be getting more active! ...Hopefully. XD Oh, I'm such a horrible task manager. I should really know better than to take on about five projects at once... Anywho, some early twincest for y'all~ I love writing about kids. ^^*
Snow Kiss
*Five Years Previous*
It was the first snowfall of the season.
Young Zero and Ichiru Kiryu watched silently from the open window of the elder twin's bedroom. It was late and the two boys were waiting for their parents, who were on assignment, to return home. Toga Yagari, their teacher and guardian, was passed out in a chair in the living room and there was no chance of him waking. The twins were completely alone.
Admittedly, this was how they preferred things, especially Ichiru. The younger twin was perfectly convinced the pair of them needed no one else but each other. For the most part, Zero agreed with him. He was never happier than when he was alone with Ichiru. He… he loved his little brother more than anything else in the world. He would do anything for him. Anything…
"It's really beautiful this year," said Ichiru quietly, regarding the swirling flakes of crystal lightly drifting downward outside the window. He turned to his twin. "What do you think, Ze-- Nnmh!"
Ichiru never got to finish his thought. Zero had pressed his lips against his brother's, effectively sending Ichiru into a stare of partial shock. One one thousand… Two one thousand… Three one thousand. Zero pulled away, leaving his younger twin completely stunned.
"Ichiru…?" said Zero hesitantly, flushing a little under his brother's wide-eyed stare.
For a few moments, Ichiru could only mouth wordlessly. It was like his brain was trying to play catch up with everything else. "Z-Zero…?"
The blush creeping into his cheeks deepening, Zero shrunk a little. "Yes, Ichiru?" he murmured, feeling increasingly embarrassed and awkward.
"Did… did y-you… did you j-just… kiss me?"
Zero nodded, almost shamefully. "Isn't that what people do when they love each other?" he asked quietly, his silver eyes flitting upward to look at his brother's reaction.
It was Ichiru's turn to blush. "You… love me, Zero?" he whispered.
Zero lifted his head and blinked in surprise at the question. "Of course, I do!" the older twin insisted. "Don't… don't you love me, Ichiru?"
The younger Kiryu said nothing. Instead, he leaned forward and mimicked what his brother had done to him. Ichiru kissed Zero, lightly but warmly. One one thousand… Two one thousand… Three one thousand… Four one thousand… Five one thousand. "Yes, Zero. I love you."
The snow continued to fall outside, a few white flakes fluttering in through the window and dusting the twins' silver hair, the pure innocent white betraying the beginning of the deepest sin…
