Hello out there! Heroic couplets are a pair of rhyming ten syllable lines. Shakespeare used them often. We learned about them in my English 9 class and even wrote some about Romeo and Juliet. I thought that it would be fun to write and read for Twilight, so...here you go!
I own nothing of the Twilight Saga, except the books Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Amanecer (Breaking Dawn in Spanish)
Twilight Heroic Couplets
Before her he was nothing more than air
Until suddenly his soul mate was there
He watched from afar but never too near
For he wished not to become his love's fear
This hiding of feelings lasted for weeks
But then one night a single name was leaked
And Juliet's feeling were shown in sleep
Because Romeo decided to peep
So the next morning he opens a door
And two star-crossed lovers forever more
Love and gaze into their other half's eyes
Through heartbreak and more their love never dies
Thank you so much for reading. Review if you have anything to say!
