A note from Photon Drake: "Happy Holidays everyone! I apologize for not updating anything for the past few weeks. You can blame school. It's been making me very busy and I really haven been able to find time to write! Luckily, school FINALLY let out for winter break, so I'm free! On Tumblr, I signed up for a Zexal Secret Santa exchange. I wrote this for my Secret Santa, so I'd thought I would share this with you guys. This is my FIRST Sharkbaitshipping fic, and no flames please! They will not be tolerated. Enough of that, and I do NOT own Zexal."
"Open mine! Open mine!" Yuma indicated excitedly, picking up a certain present under the tree inside a nicely wrapped package to Shark.
Shark accepted the package. He eyed it curiously, staring at the fish-themed wrapping paper. They were cute little fish but Shark accepted it. Looks like Yuma took his time to wrap up my gift. Before then, he was always messy with everyone else's gifts.
The purple headed boy tore the wrapping paper off, piece by piece. The more the paper came off, the more Shark could see his present emerging. While the boy continued to unwrap, Yuma watched from his seat with excitement in hopes his boyfriend would enjoy his gift. I really hope Shark likes his present. I picked it out especially for him. What am I saying?! Shark and I have been together for almost a year now! Shark used to be so aggressive, but he warmed up to me and look where we are! He's a little protective over me when Kaito is around, but he cares for me.
"Yuma..." gasped Shark, who had finally finished unwrapping his present. "It's... It's... Amazing..."
In Shark's lap sat a marine ocean colored blanket. Millions of colorful fish "swam" all over the blanket as if there was a life bustling in the design. Above all the fish there was one mighty shark dominated the pattern. The great fish itself was prideful. It's teeth were baring to show its toughness, much like Shark's braveness. Shark felt the blanket with his hands. They were actually very fluffy, much like a stuffed animal's fur.
Shark moved his head towards his boyfriend, sitting opposite of him on the nearby couch. The spiky haired boy had a look of anxiety. Knowing him well, seeing Yuma with a worried look on his face made Shark feel concernful.
"Do you like it?... I found it just for you," Yuma said quietly. "I picked it- OOMPH!"
Yuma was interrupted when Shark quickly pressed his lips against lips. At first the boy didn't know how to react since his boyfriend tended to kiss him at various, unpredictable times. Shark felt so much warmth from Yuma, he gave it his all in his moment. He wrapped his arms around Yuma's sides the more both boys made contact. Eventually, they had to catch their breath, so Shark let go of Yuma, not wanting hurt him.
Yuma flopped back onto the couch. He panted out of breath because of the making out he and Shark had done. "Shark," he panted, "what was the for?" He felt a breeze to come into the room, but didn't feel very cold. "Wha...? I feel warm.."
Shark sat upright, formed a seductive smirk. "Looked like making out with you made you nice and toasty. After all, I can't let this blanket you give me go to waste." The marine colored blanket was quickly thrown over Yuma's body and Shark's. Shark carefully spread the blanket so the design of the blanket could be seen. Yuma watched as Shark flattened the ocean scene on the blanket. Seeing all of those fish made it look like a living room aquarium.
Yuma's face then blushed in warmth. He had the best boyfriend, one that cared, comforted, dueled, and loved him. "Hey, Shark?" he said. "I love you.
Shark placed his hand over Yuma's. "I love you too, Yuma. Merry Christmas."
