Alex slipped into the dark hall. He crept softly down the carpeting. Suddenly he paused. He tenced. somthing wasn't right...He saw a blade, no three, flash in the moonlight that blanketed the hall. He doged out of the way. He stood facing an impossing man that remineded him faintly of Wolf. The man had bales extending from his...hands?
Alex didn't let that distract him. He charged, then twisted and brought his elbow into the man's back. There was a slightly hollow sound. Alex's arm went slightly numb. He attcaked again, but was quickly over powered.
"Storm would like to see you now."
Alex glared at the woman across from him. She remained him faintly of Mrs. Jones. Luckily, she wasn't sucking on a peppermint.
"Do you know why you are here?" she asked, not unkindly.
"Yes" He growled.
"I see." She paused. "We do not believe you are mutant, but it can not be determined at this time. You will remain here for four weeks, until we reach a negation with your government."
Alex glared at her,"They won't agree."
Stormcocked her head. "Now why not?"
Because, I won't tell you. A man in the back of the room coughed.
Alex snapped around. "I know you can read minds. So can it!"Or I will pull out your tongue with a pair of pliers...
The man shifted in his chair.
"So. What do you really want?"
Storm looked surprised. "What do you mean?"
"I don't have to read minds to know that everything has strings attacked." Bitch.
The mind reader jerked in his chair. The annoying blade guy slapped Alex across the head.
"Respect..." He growled.
Alex glared at him. "Needs to be earned."
"From you?"
Alex hissed.
The man looked faintly amused. Then his expression hardened.
"Listen kid. I've killed people..."
"So have I." Alex shrugged. "It's not a big deal. Just wrap you hands around their neck and squeeze. Takes about five minutes. But I bet your to busy cutting people up."
The man growled. Alex looked levelly back.
Storm watched them with a small smile on her lips. "Wolverine, you can watch him."
The man looked at her. "No! I've got better things to do!"
"No, you don't. Now show Alex his room."
Wolverine snarled. Then he grabbed Alex by the back of the neck, and frogmarched him out of the room.
Rouge and Bobby stepped out from behind the two way mirror.
Storm smiled, "That went well."
Bobby shook his head. "The kid knew we were in there the whole time."
Storm looked confused. "How?"
Booby looked her dead in the eye. "He flipped me off!"
