Evelyn Mary-Sue Krystal pulled her wavy black hair up and sighed sadly. She wanted to dye it green, just like her ultimate love: The Joker. She knew deep down that he wasn't real, but that didn't stop her from lusting over the fictional clown.

The nineteen-year-old with a PhD applied a dab of black eyeliner just above her long and thick eyelashes. She looked at the cat eye effect that took place over her pale, pale blue eyes, which resembled sparkling gems, before feeling satisfied with her makeup. She shrugged a letterman jacket over her petit, hourglass body and pulled on her tan moccasins.

"I hate this life," she said aloud to no one in particular, except for perhaps her own stunningly gorgeous reflection. It was true, she longed for some excitement in her boring days.

She grabbed her car keys laying on the kitchen counter, gave her cheek a quick pinch for color, and was out the door the next minute. She grimaced at the grimy walls and floors of the apartment complex. It was all she could afford after an abused childhood and career in prostitution. No parents, no money to get by in life. In the parking lot of her building, grimy men couldn't stop staring at her porn-star body. She glared at them darkly and covered her D-cups, also regretting choosing lacy tights to hold up against the cold and stares. She climbed into her beat up truck and shimmied out of her jacket. Something felt eerily off. She glanced to the passenger seat nervously. Her breath caught in her throat when she saw what was next to her.

A tiny box emitting a soft blue glow sat in an almost calming manner. It was a peculiar thing, sitting next to an unsigned note. Evelyn picked up the note.

This, dear little Evelyn, is a special gem. You can do amazing things with this. For example, you can store endless amounts of items in here by simply pointing and clicking the button on this puppy. Say 'Go to _ universe, _' and go to any universe you wish. Any place, any where. Give it a whirl. Just remember to say there's no place like home three times when you want to come home.

Evelyn Mary-Sue Krystal eyed the box with a growing excitement. A nagging voice in the back of her head told her she was probably being recorded as some practical joke, but she really didn't care. She picked up the box, with hands shaking from excitement, and knew where she would go.

"Go to Christopher Nolan's universe, Gotham City."

At first, for a split second, she felt the answer of disappointment. Nothing. But then she could feel it. It was like a hurricane, growing bigger and more powerful around Evelyn. There was an unbearable pain, like being squeezed by a giant hand. She closed her eyes and…

Everything stopped.

She was weightless, but she could feel concrete beneath her. Sirens sounded off in the distance. She opened her eyes.

The Joker. He stood in front of her, a faint look of bewilderment on his face.

They ripped off their clothes and had sex. It was amazing. Then they proclaimed their undying love for each other and got married.

The end.
