Author's Note: Hey everyone! Sorry I took so long to figure out that sequel I promised. For those who haven't already, go check out my stories The Power of Envy and Not A Group Decision. This one is a sequel-ish thing. You don't really have to read the others, but it's recommended. Thanks! Please review!

The dark, dreary halls were endless. They seemed to suck away all the happiness Scorpius had. Sometimes he hated Malfoy Manner. But it was the greatest place to be if you wanted to be alone. No one would ever find you. Scorpius felt as though all the portraits were eyeing him, as if they knew what he was about to tell his father. He was going to tell him that he was dating Rose Weasley, and he was scared as hell.

Finally, he reached his destination. He saw his father sitting at the head of the long dining table, reading the Daily Prophet. Scorpius fidgeted with his hands as he took a seat next to his dad. He cleared his throat and his father looked up from his paper.

"Hello, Scorpius."

"Hello, father."

"How are you?"

"Good. Erm- I have to tell you something."

"What is it, Scorpius?"

"Well... I've sort of been seeing someone."

"Oh. Is she a Slytherin?"

"No. Ravenclaw."

"Pure blood?"

"Half."

"Alright. Not exactly what I'd hoped, but it's fine. What's her name?"

"Rose. Rose Weasley."

"Rose-what?" Draco looked at him with wide eyes filled with anger.

"You heard me, father."

"No. This is unacceptable. You will not date the daughter of my enemies!"

"Father! They're not your enemies! Maybe they were in school, but not anymore!

Besides, I'm not going to judge someone based on their name or house or blood status or anything like that. It's wrong. Rose and I don't do that. We overlook it. Besides, there's nothing wrong with her family. If anything, she's being the bigger person by overlooking my name."

"Scorpius! How dare you speak about your family like that!" Draco slammed his hands on the table and rose to his feet. Scorpius also stood and glared at his father.

"It's true! We're a family of death eaters and everyone knows it! Maybe some of the stupid Slytherins think its cool, but everyone else hates me for it!" He paused when he saw the pain in his father's eyes. "I'm sorry, father. You know I don't blame you for what you did. I understand what you went through, how hard it was. I don't think you're a bad person because of your mistakes. And neither does Rose."

"She doesn't?"

"No! That's what's so wonderful about her! She doesn't care what mistakes you've made or what your name is. All she cares about is who you are as a person. And so do I. Rose is the smartest, funniest, nicest, most interesting person I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Please, please don't decide your opinion on her until you actually get to know her. Please."

"Fine. You can date the ginger." Scorpius laughed and hugged his father.

"Thank you."

Author's Note: I hope you liked it! I'm planning on writing another oneshot Rose/Scorpius related. I really enjoy writing the pairing. Please review!
