My first real Castle/Glee cross over. A bit of understanding for both shows will help, but Castle's the only one necessary.
Set after 'Sectionals' for Glee and 'The Third Man' for Castle.
Glee
Will Schuester, Spanish Teacher and Glee Club extraordinaire, walked through the corridors of McKinley High, heading for the room housing the school's Glee Club, The New Directions. A large smile was plastered to his face as he held a plain white envelope excitedly in his hands.
He could hear the loud music blaring from behind the door before he opened it. When he did, he made a 'cut the music' motion to Rachel Berry, the groups most enthusiastic and probably most talented female member. She skipped over to the docking station and pressed pause.
"Hello everyone." Mr Shue greeted them. A chorus was received with everything from 'Hola' to 'Yo'. "I have some exciting news, so take a seat."
Quinn Fabray, the pretty, blonde, former captain of the cheer squad, sat on the edge of the group, a hand resting on her baby-bump. She and Finn Hudson were still on rough terms after he found out that he wasn't the father of her baby. Noah 'Puck' Puckerman, resident jerk and the real father to Quinn's baby, took a seat next to her. Somehow he'd managed to get on her good side. Mercedes, the large, dark girl with an ability to hit and hold the high notes, took a seat next to her best friend Kurt, the club's well-dressed homosexual. Tina, the slightly punk-ish Asian with a stutter, sat next to Artie's wheelchair. Some Cheerios and some Jocks filled the space between until we got to more important characters like Rachel and of course Finn Hudson, jock, singer and all around not so bright, but good guy. When the chatter died down Will spoke.
"We've been invited to perform in New York."
Castle
"Oh my god!" Alexis Castle squealed, clutching a flyer in her hand. "Dad! Dad!" The 16-year-old jumped up and down on the spot.
"What is it!?" Rick Castle asked her slightly alarmed.
"Please, please, please can we go?!" She asked, shoving a flyer into her father's face. He took a moment to read it.
"What's a show choir?"
"Ugh!" Alexis groaned in exasperation. "They sing and they dance. So can we go?" Rick moved his head side to side as he mentally went through his timetable.
"You can bring Kate." Alexis suggested, knowing that inviting the sexy, but guarded detective her father was so infatuated with would mean an instant yes.
"Ok! When is it?"
"3 days away. So call them now to get the tickets. I want an aisle seat with a good view!" Alexis shouted as she ran up the stairs to look through her wardrobe. Castle rolled his eyes, but there was an affectionate smile on his face. He picked up the phone and dialled.
"What have I signed myself up for?" He muttered.
Love it? Hate it? Meh?
Please review- It will make me update faster... maybe.
