Every year on the morning of his birthday, America finds a bouquet of daffodils and roses on his door, no tag, no name no nothing, just a pile of flowers. (Also, depending on relations with Russia, there is a sunflower on the side, but that is beside the point)

It was the 4'th of July, six o'clock, and a certain American was just waking up. His eyes fluttered open, and he took a big deep breath through his smiling mouth. Sitting up, he realized the day it was, and nearly squealed (but he is far too heroic for that). So he jumped out of bed, and threw on and white t-shirt printed with the U.S.A flag, and some all American blue jeans.

Walking into the kitchen and putting some bacon on the pan, he hears the doorbell ring, "Dingg, DOOONNNGGG" once, and then silence. "Ah! VISITORS!" He opens the door to find Japan and Greece standing on the step.

"Hey guys!" Seeing as they showed up together, and had a single box, he guessed they were dating, but it had been obvious for about a month now.

"I'm sorry for coming so early, but happy birthday America-san," Japan states with an apologetic smile.

" No problemo dude," Greece handed him a box, which he readily accepted, " better early then never right! Thanks for the present!" after this statement, Greece started to fall asleep standing up, and Japan took notice, " I am sorry, but I really must be going, " he gave a small bow and started to leave with Greece in tow behind him"

" BYEEEEE"

Now that they were gone he had a clear view of his front step, he looked around excited, but it was empty. He made a slight face, but then shrugged it off, " I guess they're just running late. " So he closed the door and went to go eat breakfast.

It was later that day, noon to be exact, many people had come bearing gifts, but everyone was busy, and had to leave. This left poor America, in his house alone with a giant pile of gifts.

America walks back into the room and eyes down the presents, then looks to the door, " I guess everyone forgot I was throwing my party today." He walks over to the stack of presents, and sits down on the couch, picking a pokadoted box and pulling it over to open, but he stops and hangs his head. " You would think that at least one of them would stay, and the flowers didn't show up" his sprit is sinking, so he places the present back on the pile, then sinks onto the couch. The moment he's relaxed into his couch, there are several knocks at the door. He stands up off the couch, and walks over to it; sure it's going to be another present, and another goodbye. However when he opens the door, he is confronted with a pile of flowers, daffodils and roses, very close to his face, obscuring his vision, especially of the person holding said flowers. Curious, and mildly surprised, he steps back, then takes the flowers gently from the shaking hand and looks down at said person. Standing there in front of him is an American flag shirt clad, red neck bandana and jean shorts wearing, red converse on their feet, blushing lightly, England.

" Happy birthday America."
