A/N: I had posted a fic similar to this a few months ago with an OC. Recently I changed it and replaced it with a character from cannon instead, changed the dialogue and the title. This is also set in an AU were Kurt had not met Blaine.
She had noticed he was frequently alone. She didn't think anyone should be alone so she gravitated toward him and they became best friends. In an ocean of adolescents where everyone seemed to have selfish motives there was Sunshine Corazon, his sunshine. He quickly came to appreciate how sincere she was with him and everyone else. Everyone else who asked for favors from him he told no because they would never reciprocate and it left him feeling used and discarded. However, this wasn't the case with Sunshine. He couldn't say no if ever she asked for anything.
Getting to know him she discovered he was not a through snob, he only thought he was better then those kids who picked on him. Early on in their friendship when she would complement him, calling him cute or beautiful, he would get teary eyed as if he actually doubted it. He was compassionate and forgiving almost to a fault and she was hoping the world wouldn't harden him.
They were laying her bed watching a movie. He laid on his side and she was propped up on her elbows behind him. She looked down at him. "Kurt I have to ask you something. I want to do something, but I need to ask you first." He looked back and up and her curiously. "Can I kiss you?" He looked surprised.
"I-I don't know what to say." He paused. He then smiled at the complement but became serious. "…Sweetheart, I…" he began.
"I, I know you don't, I know you prefer boys but I'm not asking for all that."
"But you've never been kissed. Are you sure you want this to be your first, with me who's
technically a boy but…?"
"I just want to kiss you…because I find you kissable."
His eyes became misty and he smiled a little. She smiled as she leaned into him slowly, taking him in, enjoying being this close to him. He took a deep breath as soon as her lips pressed against his. She planted 3 long kisses on his top lip then bottom then back to his top again. She kissed him on the corner of his mouth giving him a chance to pull away if he wanted to.
She kissed him long and slow and he found himself reciprocating and wanting to learn. She delicately laid a hand on his cheek. He found himself concerned with how he was returning her kiss, if he was adequate or not. He copied what she did for the most part. He was curious about one thing though. He was curious about French kissing. That's something he wanted to learn. He accurately figured that she wouldn't be so bold as to try that with him, that she wanted to keep the kiss soft and none intrusive. So he decided to make the first move. She pulled away slightly. "I want to learn," he whispered. She merely said with a look of surprise,
"I wouldn't know what to do."
"We'll figure it out," he answered. He ran his tongue across her lip and she smiled against him. She tasted the porcelain like boy in front of her and was pleasantly surprised at this new found way to express affection. She opened her eyes slightly to catch a glimpse of his closed ones. She admired them for a few moments. Then his eyes opened slightly as well.
"Is something wrong?" she asked first.
"No not at all. When I try something new I check to make sure your face isn't all scrunched up, that I'm not doing something wrong."
"You're doing fine, perfect," she complemented.
"Am I?" he questioned, unsure.
She smiled and leaned in. "Wait," she said. "You don't feel like I'm forcing you to do this do you?"
"Forcing me? I just put my tongue in your mouth. I'd say it's a group effort," he assured.
"I mean I know you prefer boys. You've made that clear several times."
"Shut up, we're doing this, he smiled as he kissed her.
