HEY EVERYBODY! Wow... I have been MIA for a long time, and for that I apologize, but I bring with this new story the promise that soon I will be continuing stories I never finished including Friday Nigh Lights at Gallagher, as well as Why Me. In addition, I intend to rewrite the sequel to Finally Me because let's face it, that was some of my most crappy writing. As per the usual I won't be spell checking and such, I know some feel that takes away from the story, but the cold hard truth is I just don't have the time.
Alright, on a happy note I'd like to say, WELCOME to my new story, Independence(I'm not really sure why but that name just sounds right in my head, maybe it'll make more sense as the story progresses). As per the usual I don't own the Gallagher Girls Series or it's characters, but I do own this plot and I'm very excited to get started with this story! Thanks for reading, leave me a review and let me know how you feel about the story as it goes on, to returning readers thanks for joining me again! I hope you enkpjou the story!
"Are you even listening to me?!" No, I'm not. I'm go busy focusing on how badly you've pissed me off this time.
"Of course I am," Lie, "I just have a right to be angry, Zach! You lied to me, even after we promised no more secrets! This isn't even the first time you've broken that promise either. I'm not sure how much longer I can just keep 'trusting' you, Zach!" No matter how loud my instincts scream for me to never doubt your intentions.
"You broke the promise too Cam!" He snapped, jabbing his index finger into my sternum, "so don't act like you're entirely innocent!"
"You lies about taking the St. Petersburg mission. You lied about th Libyan Conflict, and worse! You told me you were going to visit your dad and his family in London! You told me you were going to visit the Henley, maybe Big Ben and actually see it this time, only for me to find out you were actually in Tel Aviv under heavy fire! The one time I broke the rule, Zachary was so you wouldn't find out about your surprise birthday party! Don't you dare try to spin this all on me!"
I'm not sure when but it'd started raining. Somewhere in all the madness, the rain started falling like tears from the sky, on my cheeks and his.
"If you don't think you can trust me, Cam, then don't," he stepped closer, leaned over pressing a kiss to my rain soaked lips, "But don't say I never tried."
"I'll say it all I want you son of a bitch!" I pushed him away and saw him turning, walking away. The last I ever saw of him, thus far, has been the heel of his left red tennis shoe as he disappeared from the light of a distant street lamp.
Heartbroken and sad I closed my eyes. I turned my back to his memory and did what I do best, I ran away.
