Entry for the first day of Jortato Week on the Book for the Book Fanatic Forum.
There were just three people left: him, Potato, and the District 7 boy.
He had worked behind the scenes to make sure that she would stay alive, and now, it was down to this. He planned on killing the District 7 boy in the most gruesome way possible for stealing away his Potato. She was completely fooled about him being a good person; she shouldn't trust anyone outside of their district.
Jordan grinned, having found the coward hiding behind Potato. He took a rusted needle hidden behind his back, and ran towards the boy. The District 7 boy tried to run, but he was immediately stabbed in the chest several times. His wide, scared eyes were immediately locked on Potato's as he mouthed, 'Run', but she was locked in place. The boy collapsed to the ground, the blood seeping onto his clothes. Jordan's maniacal smile stretched across his face as he turned to Potato.
"Potato dear, now we can be together!" Jordan singsonged as she stepped closer towards her. "And anyone in our path will be destroyed~!"
He leaned towards Potato to give her a kiss, when a loud crack could be heard.
Jordan pulled away Potato confusedly, rubbing his red cheek. "Tate...why? I thought you loved me..."
Potato wiped tears from her eyes and whispered, "I used to. When you were a sweet guy who wouldn't kill someone for petty reasons. But now...you've changed. I don't know who you are anymore."
Jordan looked down ashamedly as the psychotic person inside of him faded. "I'm still the same guy. Please Tate...I only want to make you happy."
She looked away. "No...you blew your chance."
In a bold moment-one that he knew he wouldn't regret-Jordan grabbed Tate's arm and drew her roughly into a kiss. In the first few seconds, she struggled to get out of the kiss, but she slowly stopped fighting him. She threw her arms around his neck and melted into the kiss.
They slowly pulled away from each other. Potato sighed and smiled softly. "I suppose...one more chance."
Jordan smiled tenderly at her, and pulled her into another kiss.
They didn't care at all about the fact that they were in the Hunger Games arena. All they knew was that nothing will break them apart-not now, not ever.
I know, it sucks. But still, review please?
