Another man was born on September 4th but much later after the crazy police commissioner, his name is Kondou Isao and he, ironically enough, works for the man that shares his birthday, nothing is known of his parents but he attended a temple school where his teacher was constantly scolding him, Kondou got into trouble and stole radishes but his teacher never gave up on him, one day the temple school was burned down by loan sharks even though Kondou and the other children tried to deal with them, his teacher disappeared and Kondou's memories with him, later in his early twenties, he met Okita Sougo and Mitsuba and became close with them, he would teach him the sword and how to open up to others besides his sister, soon he came across a thorny young man named Hijikata Toushirou who he saved from some thugs who had beaten him, he took him to his dojo to heal while Sougo felt like Kondou and Mitsuba lavished all of their attention on the new person, Hijikata left to fight those thugs again on his own even though he hadn't healed but Kondou had followed him, they beat the thugs but Hijikata joined the dojo and what wouldd become the Shinsengumi, time passed and they left to Edo, having to leave Mitsuba in Bushu, in Edo they establish the Shinsengumi and are successful despite Okita attackingg Hijikata, years go by and Mitsuba comes to Edo to marry but she ends up tragically dying, then a rebellion with Itou happens which ends tragically as itou is killed, through all the crazy and serious times when he first meets Gintoki and the Yorozuya, when he starts to 'court' Otae through when he meets his teacher from the temple school again and helps him before he dies up to the attempt on the Shogun's lifee, Kondou has been a goofy but selfless man who shows that he's much more than a silly Gorilla, he's a good man who sees good in people even if he blinds himself from seeing the bad, someone who loves his friends and family wholeheartedly and purely even if he is a bit of a pervert but he loves his country and leader, and no matter how his life goes as he turns the oages of his life's story, Kondou Isao will be remembered as the man who loves Otae, his family in the Shinsengumi and all of Kabuki-chou and Edo, he is a true samurai of Japan.
