Description of final part of the final episode.

There is a siege at Sun Hill, following the death of a member of the local community. Montage is shown of Smithy, Stevie, Niel, Max, Nate, Ben, Grace, Terry, Mickey, Banksy, Callum, Leon, Jo, Jack and Roger being shot.

Flash to a talk show with Mel Ryder explaining about the book she wrote about the siege and her feelings at what they were put through.

Mel: I wrote the ending to the book many times, I just didn't know how to end it, some people died in the siege and I couldn't understand what the reader could get out of it. I decided that the author plays God in the books that they write. So in a moment of weakness I decided that I was going to play God, I decided that some of the people who died deserved a happy ending. The true ending is included in the book so that people who want to know the truth can and those who don't, well they don't particularly have to read it. I personally like the illusion in the book better than the real version. In the book, each character gets the happiness that they deserve in reality that isn't true.

Presenter: Who survives in the book?

Mel: Everyone
