A/N: This is my first B&S fanfic. It's basically several oneshots put with lyrics.

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there's always tomorrow

The Walker family sat around the table in the dining room. Tonight was the first time that they had all been together since Kitty and Nora's infamous fight. Tonight was Kitty's birthday; she flew in from New York for a job interview. William Walker sat at the head of the table being the life of the family as usual. Then he and his oldest grandchild Paige went to sit outside. The rest of the family was inside and heard and splash and then Paige. They investigated and found William in the swimming pool. William had a massive heart attack and died.

"Man, I cannot believe the great William Walker is gone," said Tommy taking a swig of his wine.

"Yeah, who would've thought that it would've ended so soon," Sarah commented.

"Sarah, how is Paige handling all of this?" Kitty asked her sister.

"She's being Paige, always so strong about things," she answered

"Speaking of strong, what about Mom? We've been wallowing in our pity so much that we haven't even asked Mom how she was doing today. And where is Mom?" Kevin asked.

" I bet I know" replied Sarah. "C'mon everyone, we're going for a ride."

The Walker siblings piled into two cars and followed Sarah. They arrived at the cemetery where they had just buried their father a few hours ago. Under the tent by the site sat a lone figure dressed in black. It was Nora Walker.

"There's Mom" whispered Kitty.

"Man, she looks bad" noted Kevin.

"Well Kevin what did you really expect, for god's sake her husband just died" remarked Kitty.

"You two shut up and get out" Sarah demanded.

The two cars unloaded and they walked hand in hand to where their mother sat. Once they reached her they crowded around her. They said nothing but just hugged and kissed her one at a time and sat quietly until Nora was ready to leave.

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on
