Ice King Simon Petrikov

Came from the unknown,

Not sure where,

It's never crossed his mind to care,

Person finds it, havoc unleashes,

World unites, to tame the beast yes,

Buried deep inside the ground,

For they discovered they couldn't destroy the crown,

He's re emerged from the Earth,

Thanks to a smart middle aged nerd

Can't wait for the inevitable moment,

Ready to unleash some torment,

He put it on he gets some control,

It doesn't last very long but now he has a foothold,

In the depths of an advanced mind,

Fights pursue for who's the rightful king,

How long it takes, doesn't matter,

The Crown has all the time,

World collapses all around him,

For once he didn't take a hand in the process,

His powers are slowly pushing through,

Little girl meets up and despite his best efforts,

She tags along with the man who is blue,

Time passes, he's ready to fall,

Just one more great attack should complete the task,

In which he strikes with his cold mental claw

The girl is gone, ran away,

Scared by the old man's insanit-ay

She tried not to judge, Not to make comments,

But when it came down to the flat line,

He was just making too many bad signs

Eventually, the crown grows bored

Nowhere to go, nothing to do,

He lets the Old Man drive the reins,

But if he gets the chance...

He'll be going with everything he's got, not caring for what's to be lost, and the little to be gained.

Ice Prince Finnegan Mertens

The bomb fell, Simon knew what he had to, do,

At the loss of a life, more were to be saved,

Didn't go as planned, and people died, Anyway,

Centuries go by, the dangerous artifact,

Is guarded by an old hag who wants to keep the planet intact,

Old farmer, gets into a gang's bad graces,

His son's desperate to save his family,

He has a lot to lose,

But some choices you just don't choose,

You just do.

Finds the crown,

Steals it fast,

Goes to sell it but, eh, his possession over it didn't last,

Stolen by Big D

Can he escape this madness we will see

Gang burns the town,

Atop boy's head is the crown

Puts out the fire at a bigger cost,

The world he's known,

The world in which he's grown,

He's lost.

Loses his mule and dog,

Tries to fight through the misty fog, in his mind,

But it's just so much easier to just obey,

He just doesn't have Simon's resistance,

Better to do as the magic says,

After all,

The ice in his brain,

The one that's made him go insane,

Isn't going to thaw.
