*Aria POV*
Today was the first day of senior year. I woke up at 6:30 which gives me just enough time to shower and get ready. When I get done, Mike is already at school, so I go and pick up Hanna. I pull into her driveway and see her walk out. When she gets in the car we start talking.
"Guess what?" we say at the same time.
"You go first Han." I tell her.
"You know my older sister Arizona right?" I nod. "Well, she moved back during summer and she works at Rosewood High now!" She says while smiling from ear to ear.
"Oh My Gosh, Han! That's awesome! I miss her!" I smile too.
"What did you want to tell me?" She says while we pull into the parking lot.
"Surprisingly, the same thing, just with Callie." Now its my turn to smile from ear to ear.
"Really?" I nod. "What does she teach? Ari got History. It was her favorite subject in high school."
"Umm…. I don't know. want to come with me and find her so we can ask?" She nods. "Okay, well she's probably talking to the principal." Hanna nods and follows me to the principals office.
My suspicions were right. Walking out of the principals office I see Callie and Arizona.
"Callie! Z! Oh man, I missed you guys so much!" I hug both of them, so does Hanna.
"Morning Aria, hey Hanna." Callie says. "Why are you guys here so early? School doesn't start for another half hour." I take a breath to answer, but Hanna beats me to it.
"We wanted to get our schedules, find our lockers, and get to first period early." I nod.
"Hey Callie, what are you teaching?" I ask
"AP English. Arizona is teaching AP History. What do you girls have first?" She asks.
"We haven't looked yet, we are waiting for Emily and Spencer. It's a first day tradition, we get here early, and look at each other's schedules." I reply.
"You are all still really close aren't you?" Arizona asks. Hanna nods. "What happened to Alison? Did you guys fight?" Hanna and I look down.
"She disappeared two years ago. They found her body, but don't know who killed her." We answer. Callie and Arizona pull us into a hug. "Well we better get going, don't want to be late for class. See you in first period Ms. Torres, and see you in" I look at my schedule. "fifth period, Ms. Robbins.
"Bye, girls!" They say in unison.
We find Emily and Spencer in the AP English classroom sitting in the middle with two seats saved for us. We sit down and start talking. The next thing I know the room goes quiet and all you hear is our laughter filling the room, someone clears their throat.
"Am I interrupting you ladies?" Ms. Torres asks.
"No ma'am. Won't happen again, Ms. Torres." I smile at my sister and give her the 'be-nice-or-I'll-kill-you' look.
"Okay, I'll hold you to that Ms. Hastings." She smiles at us and begins talking again. Soon it's time for lunch. I meet the girls in the cafeteria.
"One thing I didn't miss over the summer was the schools nasty mystery food." Emily says as she sits down. We laugh at her comment. We keep a nice conversation going, when a blonde hair, blue-eyed teacher catches my eye. I must have been staring, because the next thing I know someone is slapping the back of my head.
"Ow. What the hell, Spenc?" I yell at her.
"You were staring at Ari- Ms. Robbins. Luckly Hanna didn't notice." She whispers. Spencer is the only one who knows I'm gay.
"Shit. Sorry, I'll be more careful." I say getting up.
"Where are you going Aria?" Hanna asks.
"Uh. I have to ask Cal- Ms. Torres something. I'll see you in history." I walk away and into the teachers lounge. What I see makes me stop dead in my tracks.
