My story continues

Chapter One
One of my earliest memories of me involved rather odd conversations with several people. My Mother, Father, kids I don't know now and even cats! I still felt accommodated knowing that I had these special memories with me specially the one where I went to the park.
It was a cool and breezy afternoon, I remember the birds chirping, and the white puffy clouds that stayed still in the blue sky. We were walking, getting nearer a pond I loved. I would always save some bread from the picnic we always had. Down the path after a curve I would hear the sounds of little motor boats, and the laughter of kids and parents alike, I always wondered why they were fascinated with making all this noise, don't they know that little fish were living there. I ended up stopping right by the edge, my footprints from the last time are still there, and the snapping turtles are resting on top of some rocks by the shore.
"Come here little guys" I would say, then with a small swift of my hand, I searched for the little bits of bread stored in the pockets of my red shorts. Softly grasping the bread bits between my hands, I will fling it up high in the air and watch it drop and float above the dark murky water. Within seconds all kinds of fishes would appear small orange ones, brown and red medium sized and many others. They would try a take the bread away from each other, and I would say "Share with your friends please".
"Come on Hun" Mom said, waving her hand gesturing me to come, and "See you next time" I said to the little fishes. Behind me stayed my foot prints for me to find them again the next time I was t come back. Little did I know that my last encounter with this lake would be this one, but my story continues.
No far down the rocky path, we reached the edge of the park where the city began, it was not as busy but cars were around, some people were walking back and forth, chatting and laughing.
"Can I hold my ball Mom?" I asked with hopeful eyes, "Here, but don't let go of it please". "I won't, I promise" I said with a smile.
I took the ball, it was a dark blue ball about the size of a melon, my friend Jeremy gave it to me for my 7th birthday, it was my favorite gift of them all, even though I got new electronic ones, I liked the fact that the dark blue ball was shiny and I could see the world around it.
I haven't had a Haircut in a while and with the wind was blowing some strands of hair in my eyes, trying to remove them and push them to the side, I accidentally let go of the ball. I was getting ready to get it when Mom commanded me to stay where I was. She ran as fast as she could, she was about half way across the street when I saw her hat fly right off her head. It was rolling in my direction and I decided to get it, I ran a little and managed to reach the yellow hat, with a loud scream I heard mom say "Connor!" She left my ball and started to run up to me. I just got up when she reached me and I saw something huge and fast moving toward us, then everything went dark.
