I know, a new story when I still have three more? Am I crazy? Probably...and writers block. Plus, this came from a tumblr post and it wouldn't leave my mind until I did this. I might just leave it as a one-shot but there's a chance I might turn it into a full fledged story, not sure yet. Anyways, remember to review and enjoy! Also, yes there's a little Easter Egg in here. First one to find it and say that they did will get an idea shuffled into the next chapter if I do add other chapters

Summary: After setting a base around an egg on a Island, Vivienne gets a taste of being Imprinted on...by a Godzilla Hatchling.
Pairings: None
Warnings: Will add if there is any

MONARCH Outpost 67
Kaku Island, 5 Miles North of the Bikini Atoll

Vivienne Graham walked down the long stretch of corridor, a folder in hand. She was looking over the data that she had collected to send to Ishiro. It's been a few months since she had found this large egg and was able to build a MONARCH outpost around it and still, hardly showed much signs of life. She was beginning to wonder if the heartbeat that had came within it when they first ran tests had stopped, signifying that whatever hatchling is inside was now dead.

A alarm suddenly blared causing her to freeze slightly in surprise and dread. She recognized what this alarm was for since she was the one you chose it herself. Something was happening in the containment room where the egg was being held. She ran as fast she could the rest of the way and through the door open before she stopped at what she saw.

She stared at the remains of the glass casing that once surrounded the egg. Shards hazardly laid across the ground but that didn't hold her attention for long. Her eyes trailed upward to the platform that had the egg on it- well, the broken eggshell would be more accurate. Standing on the eggshell was a creature, about as tall as a man and dark, green scales. Small dorsal plates went down it's back and down it's tail, which was moving back and forth. Bright brown eyes stared right back at her curiously, head tilting to the side. If it wasn't for the situation, she would find this cute.

The creature let out a chirp-like sound before it clumsily jumped down off of the platform and began stumbling it's way over to her. Her body tensed as it got closer and as she slowly began to realize just what it was.

The Godzilla hatchling stopped right in front of her, sniffing before it leaned forward, it's jaws opening, revealing sharp fangs-

a warm tongue slid against her face, leaving a slimey trail behind before the mouth closed and the hatchling began to let out a purring noise and rubbed its face against her head affectionately. Vivienne hesitantly brought up her hand and began to scratch the hatchling on the neck, just above the gills. The purring got louder as its eyes slid shut, enjoying the scratching, which made the woman slowly relax.

Once the hatchling had its fill of scratches, it moved away and began to explore the containment room, giving Vivienne the chance of slipping out of it and shutting the door soundlessly behind her. Right after, she felt her phone vibrate. She slipped it out and saw who it was and quickly answered.

"I got a call about something happening," Ishiro Serizawa spoke before she even had a chance to speak. "What happened there?"

"It would be better if you come here and see for yourself."

"I'll be there within a few hours." he assured her before hanging up. She slipped her phone back into her pocket with a small sigh. She heard a cry from within the room and she knew that he was probably hungry but she was at a loss at what to do. She had made sure that the nuclear waste that was on this island was properly disposed of to keep any creatures similar to the MUTOs away if they ever appeared. She was starting to regret that decision at this moment.

Vivienne hoped that the hatchling can hold out until after Ishiro gets there so they could figure out what to do.

After a few, quick hours passed, Ishiro finally landed on the island. Vivienne was waiting for him just inside the doors that let out into the helipad. She didn't say anything to him when he walked through the doors, just led him through the long stretches of corridors. This slightly worried the man. What could have happened to make his former assistant this quiet?

It wasn't long before they made it to the containment room and he could hear...something inside, probably trashing the room right at this moment. He watched as Vivienne opened the door and stepped inside and he stepped in behind her and he could see equipment and other various things thrown about the room. What really caught his attention was the perpetrator, who had stilled once the two came in. Brown eyes regarded the man for a moment before they brightened when they locked onto Vivienne. It quickly made it's way to them and began to nuzzle the woman contently.

Ishiro couldn't help but stare at what was happening before him. He would never thought in a million years that he would actually see a small Godzilla hatchling with his own eyes or that it was showering Vivienne with such affections. It was like as if...

"It imprinted on you." he mused with slight amusement and excitement.

"I suspect so, yes."

The hatchling turned its attention back to Ishiro, it's round eyes squinting as it tried to figure out just who he was. Ishiro held out his hand, palm facing it, and watched as it stretched it's neck and began to sniff at it's hand. He felt slightly giddy as it appeared to accept him and nudged his hand with it's snout. He relished the feeling of the smooth scales as he ran his hand along the creatures neck.

"We do have a situation with it." Vivienne stated after a long moment, making him look at her questioningly. "We have nothing to feed it."

"I'll make a few calls, see what I can do." he assured her, taking his hand from the hatchling. She nodded in gratitude as the hatchling turned back to her. He could see that she was already fond of it and who wouldn't be? It was rather adorable if he was honest with himself.

He couldn't help but wonder just how everyone would react to it or if announcing it's presence to the rest of the world was a good idea. After glancing at the two, watching as it leaned up against her, he decided against announcing it. He would tell all that he deemed necessary to know but that was all. He would keep the hatchling's presence under wraps until he knew what they would do about it. Right now, he was content with just observing its behavior towards Vivienne.

Besides, it wasn't everyday that he could see a Godzilla up close and personal like this.
