A/N= Hi guys sorry I haven't updated in awhile but I've been really busy, but I'm really proud of this story and I think you'll like it. BTW, it has one more chapter, to go so don't worry! Please review, thanks!!!!!!!!!!! I also don't own any of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He knew. He knew that he should be walking, no, running out that door, going after her because she was leaving in 20 minutes and would be off, touring the world for what, 6 months, and he was staying, here, without her. This wasn't how it was supposed to be, they weren't supposed to be apart, they'd never been apart and frankly he didn't really know how to function without her by his side. So he got up grabbed his jacket and ran out the door. As he was racing down the hall he realized that he'd forgotten his keys. "Keys, keys, damn it. Uhhh no time to go back now, I'll just have to run." So he sprinted, sprinted through the door, though the parking lot, through the hedges, the crosswalk and then down the sidewalk. He had to get there, had to tell her everything, had to make her understand, understand that this was one big, huge mistake and that she didn't need to "broaden her horizons", that all she'd ever need was here, with him.

He could barley see, barley make out the signs passing by in his peripheral vision and all he could think about was Kelly and then precious time ticking away. He had to make it there in time, which was looking more and more impossible by the second. "I have to, I have to" he chanted in his head. Suddenly, he was there, looking right at the port that separated him from her but something was wrong, people were waving and smiling and laughing and gradually departing from the dock. "Kelly?!" "Kelly?!" he yelled craning his neck to get a better look around the crowds.

"Zack?" "Kelly?!" he spun around to find the source of the voice. "Heh, no. Slater." "Oh, sorry." Replied Zack, who had a hard knot in his throat. "Uhhh, Kel's boat just left, if that's what you're looking for." Slater told him, as he was turning to head back to the dorm. "Ww-wait, was she on the boat?" Zack forced out. "Don't really know, wouldn't see why not, last I saw her she was just going to the bathroom. See you later Preppy." And then he was gone, pulled into the crowds of people."

"No, no, no, no, I'm not too late, not this time, I didn't screw this up, not this time, if I wasn't here then she wouldn't have left, she would have stayed, wouldn't break my heart like this, not like this." But the tears brimming in his eyes and the drops of blood smearing on his palms from his fists being clenched so tight that his nails had cut slits into his large palms told other wise. But that was the last thing on his mind. If anything they were just reminders of what wasn't his, not anymore at least.

"I should have just given her a reason, a good one, a rational one, one that didn't directly involve me." That's all she'd wanted, a reason, a reason to stay that would be equally as good as the cruise and all he'd said was "Me." Dumbass was what he now thought. Part of him said not to give up but the other half said the opposite. "Timings a bitch, we were never completely on board, not even from the start, I should just go home." He thought and he turned to go back to the dorm.

"But she couldn't have left" was what the other half was saying.
