A/n: I just felt like confusing myself… and Pinako in this story, is going to an old age home. And doesn't like it. Winry is trying to stick up for her.
Full story: Pinako is growing old and is being forced to go to an old age home by the military, who see her becoming mad. This is the only true family Winry has ever known and rants on about how she feels.

Sanity

Winry's POV

There comes a time in every person's life when one must question one self's sanity.
When the person in question eats a yogurt and throws away the spoon and puts the empty tub in the basin for washing up, only to realize what you've done and dig it up.

Daydreaming?

That's what some would say. Let them.
If you went for a HIV/AIDS test, would you really like to find out the worst?
Yes, let them. Let them believe their version of the story and find out later if they have to go to an asylum, or not? Tell them the truth? But what if... what if they don't believe me, what if they won't believe me?

Then ... do I let them?

Do I give up on them, or not?
But what if I'm wrong and they're not ... well insane. What if they are sane, like you and me? And if I'm wrong, does that mean I'm not sane?

How do we know we are actually sane, because that is what the insane really think. That they are sane.
So we might be insane and them sane?
Who knows? Maybe them, the different people.
There comes a time in one's life, also, when you start to wonder if you've been wrong all along. Then weird stuff starts happening. What people may call "signs".

From who?

They don't know, but it's better than admitting you're wrong. Human nature.
It's a wonder why people aren't sent to an asylum for "signs" but, yes, talking to themselves.

IT'S CALLED LONELINESS! ACCEPT IT.

Y.O.U. A.R.E. W.R.O.N.G.

WRONG

Old people and young people find loneliness hard to deal with so they invent crazy, silly friends to help them through.

Oh, it's socially acceptable for children, "It's only natural..."

But for the old, goodbye, off you go now. Your pick, asylum or old age home.

A/n: I'm not sure if there'll be more, if there is, prepare for a fight between a dog of the military and Winry. Not sure which dog, yet.
I won't write more if no - one wants me to, or if I don't get lots and lots of reviews!
