The Premise

Intro.

I know this is not a common thing for people to do when writing a story but since my story shall be slightly different than what's normally expected, I felt I should explain myself before publishing anything further.

Basically it's a modern take of Robin Hood in our world, and the setting is a college in the US. All of the characters will basically be the same, and many of them will possibly have the same ending. Depending if I feel that was the proper ending for them.

The story shall start off at the start of season 1, and will branch out from there. Below I'll show the list of characters that are basically the exact same character from the original but in a modern setting:

Robin Lockskley- Robin is returning student to Nottingham College after spending a summer abroad, and is majoring in Computer Science.

Kyle Much- Since "Much" is not a common name in the current world, I figured it would be best if that was his last name, and it what everyone calls him. He is a Communications major and also studied abroad with Robin.

Marianna Knighton- Most people just call her Marian, she is a political science major and an old friend of Robin. She is a part of the student body government. She hopes to become a lawyer someday.

William Vaisey- President of the Student Body Government, tends to be a bit of a control freak and hopes to rid the school of Robin and his "Men."

John Little- On the football team and is a history major.

Allan Dale- Class troublemaker, while he is a troublemaker he is also very clever, he knows the school and the goings on in it like the back of his hand and will never tell anyone exactly what his major is.

William Scarlett- He tends to be on the quiet side and never really shows too much emotion if he can help it. Out of the entire group he may be the smartest one. He is an architect major with a minor in Engineer and wood shop (just a hobby). He is also from the Alabama.

Guy Gisborne- VP of the Student Body Government, and is the Presidents lackey. Is what the average person would call a "nerd," but Robin prefers to call him a creeper. Aside from Vaisey, nobody really enjoys talking to him (it's never really clear as to whether or not Vaisey enjoys it, but he seems to put up with Guy). Although Marian does talk to him since he is in many of her classes, and they are both in the Student Body Government. While she only considers him as a friend, guy (as I'm sure you all would figure out) wants to be more than just friends.

I'll stop with the character descriptions for now since these are the only characters you'll be seeing in the beginning the rest of the characters will be able to introduce themselves better. Please let me know if you think this is a good idea! I've already written 3 chapters, and I would like to know if this is a stupid concept. I'll probably post Chapter 1 very soon.
