Equilibrium
A forest, dark with trees, but for one spot, the essence of light
Above the shadow of the brush, the giant trees tower
They seen to watch, their presence as golden waterfall,
Intertwined with green radiance, a quiet watchfulness
The chuckling of the brook, hushed background music, broken by the pounding rhythm of the waves
They beat out a heart beat, accenting the flow of the lifeblood within you.
The whisper of the grass, the musical sway of the reeds,
So soft, as they sigh to one another
Everything is speaks that is of beauty, and of accepted ness
It radiates solitude, and completeness of oneself
A place full of light, and equilibrium, but also with shadow
So why did you come?
Why can't I stay here, in this place of splendor?
And happiness?
Why can't you leave me alone,
With your tests, and needles?
I am not some animal,
To be tested and studied!
I have the power to create equilibrium,
Why must you take that away?
Can the dark balance the light?
The light and the dark
The dark and light
Of living.
