Dishes and Rashes
"Umm... I soap, you rinse?" Anna suggested. They'd just thrown a small lunch party in their dorm room, and they were left by their friends with a messy room and several dishes to wash.
"Alright," Nonoko said, pulling her sleeves up and taking her position at the right side of the sink.
"Some gathering, huh? I didn't think they'd like our new recipe," Anna smiled.
"You mean you can't believe Yuu liked your new recipe," Nonoko smirked.
"Oh," Anna blushed. "Umm... well... of course I'm glad he liked it, but I'm glad everyone else did, too. I mean, that was a complicated mix of spinach and caramel in a cookie recipe that takes hours and hours to prepare. If they didn't like it, I'd have been devastated. It took me months to perfect it and–"
Before Anna knew it, she'd broken a plate from her forceful scrubbing caused by her anxiety.
"Yep," Nonoko grinned and took the pieces of the broken plate to the garbage bin. "You're totally head over heels. I saw you watching him eagerly as he took a cookie from the plate."
"Oh gosh," Anna panicked. "Do you think anyone noticed?"
"No, but I'm a little worried now that you mentioned what you put in the cookies," Nonoko frowned. "How much spinach did you put in that cookie recipe?"
"Well, a lot, actually. Half of its contents is probably spinach," Anna said. "Otherwise, it wouldn't be so green then, would it?"
"Alright, you go finish up the dishes while I go brew some kind of medicine," Nonoko sighed. "Really, Anna. How clumsy can you be? Yuu is allergic to spinach."
"No he's not," Anna said. "I remember giving him some of my spinach cake last time as well."
"Yes, you did, and his whole body itched up like crazy," Nonoko shook her head. "You were passed out from whatever drink you thought was the juice I made, so you wouldn't have remembered."
"Dammit," Anna pulled on her hair. "Why am I such a klutz?" She whined.
End.
Author's Notes: I have no idea either.
