Sara was lying next to a nice firm body on her couch. Her head pillowed on his chest, while his strong arms wrapped around her thin frame. Sara was thinking about everything going on in her life, work, love, Grissom, just everything. But there was one question that kept beating through all her other thoughts.

"Warrick, why are you here?"

He looked down into her eyes trying to figure out what she meant and where the question came from.

"Well, you could be elsewhere. Enjoying life, out with you friends, with your grandmother, or just being at your house, and yet you are here. Why?"

"Truth?"

She nodded, hoping against hope she would hear the words she need.

"I am here because I want to be. There is no have to be. I just enjoy laying her with you in my arms doing nothing but enjoying your presence. Knowing that I am right where I am supposed to be."

She looked up at him with her brightest smile, but another pessimistic thought pushed itself to the front of her mind.

"For how long?" she mumbled.

He raised his eye brow at her, and she again nodded that she wanted the truth.

"Partly that depends on you, but for me I think forever sounds good."

"I think so too," she smiled.
