Andy held her phone loosely in her hand. There was a look of utter disbelief shown in her wide, hazel eyes, which were as round as two saucers. Her mouth gaped open ever so slightly. She could hardly believe what had been told to her. It was the best news of her life.

She hung the phone up and it made a quiet click. A large as well as toothy smile formed across her face. Laughter, that sounded like bells, spurted from her mouth. She began to do the driving dance. "Oh yeah," she said repeatedly. Gracefully, she twirled.

One of her moms came into the living room. "Honey," she said. A confused and concerned look was on her face. "I see you got good news," she said.

Andy threw her arms around her mother's neck. "Oh, June," Andy said. She had always called her mom's mate by their first name. "I got great news! I don't have cancer."

June hugged Andy tightly. She then held her at arm's length. "That is wonderful news," she said. A tear trickled down her face.

"June, don't cry. This is really good news! I don't want anything to damper it," Andy begged,

"Oh, Andy, I am not sad. I am crying out of relief. I wish Sarah was home. Should we call her," June asked. She whipped the tears hastily away; she had finished crying.

Andy shook her head. "No way," she said, "We wait until mom comes home and then we tell her. I have to go tell Josh." She smiled mischievously.

"Now don't you and he get into any trouble while you celebrate, got that? If I remember correctly, Josh finished his period of being grounded," June warned. She crossed her arms and eyed Andy.

"OK…OK, we won't go and do anything that will get us into trouble," Andy said.

"Thank-you, hon," June said, "Be home before five OK? I want Sarah, you, and I to have dinner together. This is a really big deal! We have to celebrate."

Andy laughed. She nodded. "Yes, ma'am," Andy replied, saluting June. She turned on her heal and hurried out of the living room and past June.

Throwing the door open, Andy bound out of the house and then down the steps. She ran all the way to the Tragers. Throwing the front door open, she looked around. "Josh!" Andy cried, "Josh are you home?"

Kyle wandered down from the hallway. He looked tired and a little absent minded. "Hey, Andy," Kyle said. He smiled softly at her. "Josh isn't here. He's at work," he told her, "Do you want to leave a message? I can tell him when he gets home."

Andy shook her head. Her blond hair flew every which way. "No, Kyle, this is something that I have to tell him in person. It is too big not to tell him any other way. Thanks though." She smiled slightly as she turned to leave.

Without another word, Andy ran out of the house and down the two blocks to the Rack. "Josh!" she cried. Andy ran over to the counter. Leaning across, she kissed him.

"Well hello to you too," Josh said, "What's the matter? Is everything OK?"

"Everything is wonderful. I'm cancer free."
