A Day in the Life of Mozart
Yuck! Dan could not believe he had let Amy talk him into going to Mozart's actual house. He would much rather be at that monster truck rally with Nellie. Dan had thought Mozart was boring, but listening to their tour guide drone on and on about Mozart's creativity was torture! "Uhhg. Even Amy was more exciting than this guy." Dan thought quietly to himself.
Wow! Who knew Mozart could be so exciting! Amy was learning so much. And the tour guide, he spoke with such passion and zeal. Amy admired that about him. Her mind was just beginning to wonder what it would have been like to perform a concert at age four, when Dan kicked her in the heel.
"What," snapped a thoroughly irritated Amy.
"Lucian crest at twelve O'clock." whispered Dan
Amy followed Dan's gaze and spotted it quickly. Two snaked entwined around a single sword. She gasped, shocked a possible lead could come so easily.
"They had to get away from this crowd," Dan thought. Then he got an idea. "Uhhh. I hate to interrupt this riveting speech, but uhh, did Mozart have a toilet?"
"Dan, what the-"shouted Amy, but she barely had time to respond before the tour guide errupted.
"Who said that?! Who dares to disrespect me in the home of the world's greatest composer, Mozart!?" screamed a furious tour guide.
Before Amy could even become infuriated with Dan, she was being quickly dragged away. She realized that it was Dan and turned to give him the evil eye. Dan was shoving his way to the back of the crowd in hopes of sneaking to the coffee table unnoticed.
Once to the back of the crowd, they were on hands and knees in an instant. Crawling parallel to the crowd, Amy and Dan made it to the coffee table successfully. Dan touched the crest and whispered, "Lucian".
A green odor began to ooze from the wall. The crowd seemed to vanish along with the angry tour guide.
