"Give it to me, Dean."

Those judging eyes of his locked on me and his hand was open wide wanting the hidden piece of paper in my pocket.

"Watch the way you talk, Sammy, all these kids might take that the wrong way. Hell I would have."

Sadly for us, the job that was filled with hot cheerleaders and teenage boys that reminded me of myself now was the real thing rather than cover.

(gas is a bitch these days, but I'd do anything for my baby)

"That's because your still two years old. Anyway I know you have a list of all the legal high-school girls here, but this time we need to keep our damn jobs so hand it over."

"Dude come on I haven't even looked at it yet!"

"Dean."

"Fine, party-pooper."

Before he ripped the list out of hands, which felt like he was crushing all my wicked dreams, I got a look at the very first name, Aria Montgomery.

"Aria Montgomery?"

This time instead of picking up after them Sammy was a full-time teacher and for him it was a piece of cake, and for me I got to be the not-so-bright teacher's assistant.

But right now instead of slacking off like usual I had been waiting for that single name to be called so I could get a good look at Miss-Finally-Legal and it was quite a look.

"Here."

After I spotted her I couldn't keep my eyes off of her, bringing out that charming smile of mine and aiming it right at her, and every time I passed out papers I saved her for last.

(it should be illegal to be so damn cute)

"And one for you, Miss Montgomery."

"Um…thanks."

"Aria, did you see how cute Mr. Johnson looked? And that assistant of his isn't so bad himself."

English, which used to be a subject that I captivated with thanks to one Ezra Fitz, was starting to freak me out because those eyes were always locked on me.

"Yeah, he's not so bad."

Even now it hurt to think, it wasn't like I ever spoke about him expect in my own head, of Ezra and how horrible it ended up.

It had ended so badly, that when I finally was legally an adult I wasn't running off to be with him.

"And I don't plan on making the same mistake twice."

"Aria Montgomery, I didn't expect to find you here."

"Likely story, Mr. Roth, that car of yours isn't hard to spot."

"The car is quite awesome I know, anyway its Dean to you."

(those warning bells were blazing but I wasn't listening)

"Well, Dean, care to buy me a drink?"

"Of course I would, Aria, one soda-pop for my favorite girl coming right up."

As he shot me back a smile Ezra Fitz was very far from my mind.

All that was on it was this not-so-much-a-teacher-and that awesome car of his, and it would stay that way.
