AN: I'm in a real AkuRoku writing mood tonight. This one's inspired by a cosplay photo on deviantArt - link is in my profile, if anyone's interested.

Yawning, Roxas tried to stretch, but it was difficult in the crowded lecture theatre. Move his arms too far, and he'd end up hitting someone in the face, which wasn't what he intended to do at all. At least he'd only got one more class after this, then he could go home, curl up with Axel and go to sleep. They'd only been a couple for just over a fortnight, but it already felt so right, being together.

To Roxas's relief, the lecture came to an end, and he hurried out, stuffing his notebook in his bag as he did so. If he was quick, he could grab a coffee before his next lecture started – he definitely needed the caffeine kick to get him through the next hour.

In the café, which was frequented by almost all of the students at one time or another, he found himself a table, tossed his bag on it, then ordered his drink. As he sat down, he felt someone's arms wrap around him. He could see the sleeves of a leather jacket, and only one person would wear that on a day this hot.

"Hey, darling," murmured a voice in his ear.

"Hello, Axel."

"You don't really have to go to this last class, do you?"

"Yes, unfortunately I do. I'll meet you here after, ok?"

"Ok."

To Roxas's surprise, Axel kissed him. Not that he was complaining, of course, but it was the first time it had happened in public, since neither of them was sure about the reaction they'd get from everybody else. They hadn't even told their friends yet, though they intended to soon. A round of applause greeted their display of affection, causing Roxas to blush. As they left the café, hand in hand, someone commented, "don't they make such a cute couple?"

Axel smirked, and pulled Roxas closer. "She's right, you know. We really do make a cute couple."
