'Does it ever snow in Konoha? It's rare, but the snowfall is beautiful.'
'Yes, it is beautiful.' You're far away.' '"The weather is nice today, even with the snow."'
'Even if you're far away."
Hinata looked at the snow, smiling. The snow was so pretty; it almost felt just as soothing as rain. As she thought about things, she silently gasps. She looked down and held her hands to mouth, realizing her thought.
"The weather is nice today, even with the snow. Even if you're far away." She stopped smiling, looking down at the window sill. Naruto had left to go training not long ago. A few months ago. Who knew where he was or what he was doing except training. He left to train. To be even better than before, to find that lost comrade... She looked back up, now smiling again. She told herself she would train also. She left the window and got ready.
---
Her feet crunched over the crisp white snow. She was wearing different shoes since her open-toed shoes wouldn't be good for the cold snow. She soon arrived to a large field. The training ground. Through the thin flakes coming gently down, she could see two figures- one large and smaller figure. Soon when she got closer, she could see the shape of both. Soon enough, the smaller figure turned towards her, and waved.
"Oy, Hinata! Come here!" She could hear his familiar voice. She reached where her team mate stood with his companion. Kiba's usual grin was on his face as Hinata walked over. Akamaru stood next him, panting.
"Has Shino arrived?" She said, not seeing her other team mate.
"Not yet." He said looking out towards where Shino would usually come from.He then turned to face Akamaru. His face lighted up with an idea in mind.
"Come on!" He said to Hinata. He ran to Akamaru and jumped onto him. Akamaru gave a deep bark, ready to train.
"W-what?" Hinata said, confused.
"Get up onto Akamaru!" Kiba urged her. Hinata reluctantly hopped on behind Kiba. Akamaru had gotten very large in the few months, big enough for both to sit on him. Hinata turned and looked up at the sky. Snow wasn't falling anymore. Her mouth opened in awe as she looked toward the gray clouds. Kiba turned toward her to see that she was on.
"Ready?" He said as he looked back front.
"Ready for what?" Hinata asked alarmed as she looked at him. She changed her position and sat like Kiba, waiting for an answer.
"Go, Akamaru!" Kiba yelled, pointing forward. Akamaru barked in glee and began running. Hinata shrieked at the sudden force trying to blow her off of Akamaru. She leaned forward and grabbed hold onto Kiba's jacket. Kiba smiled as Akamaru ran all over the training ground, leaving large prints into the snow. Hinata just held tight on Kiba's jacket and closed her eyes from the cold wind. Akamaru continued cantering around when Kiba saw a figure standing, watching them. Akamaru ran towards the figure, and stopped a few feet away. Kiba looked over at Shino with a grin.
"Yo, you finally got here!" He said to Shino. Hinata opened her eyes and let go of Kiba's jacket, relieved it was over. Both got off Akamaru as they greeted Shino.
"Now that you're done playing, let's train." Shino said. Hinata nodded, smiling.
"The weather is nice, even if you're far away."
