Typical
It was a gorgeous, sunny day in California. It wasn't really unusual; in fact, it was typical. Couples were riding their bikes by the malls, at the parks, by their houses. Typical. But finding Sonny Munroe and Chad Dylan Cooper together after their kind-of messy break up was not really that typical.
It took 14 days to make Chad get off his lazy butt and get his ex-girlfriend back.
"S-sonny! D-don't… DON'T LET GO, SONNY!" Chad screamed, looking up frantically at his surprisingly calm girlfriend.
"Ugh. Why'd I ever agree to this?" Sonny muttered.
"CHAD!" Sonny shrieked as she saw a bullfrog in her dressing room, her worst fear. Only two people knew her phobia: Chad and her mom.
"Wha-?" Chad asked, sticking his head inside her dressing room, almost as if he expected the sudden cry for help.
"Get that-that t-t-t-thing out of here! NOW!" Sonny screamed at him, pointing at the green frog that was looking up at her with confusion.
"Will do, boss lady." Chad said, grinning while pulling out two pairs of rubber gloves and giving the So Random! star a pair.
"Why do you have these with you?" Sonny asked suspiciously, forgetting about the frog for a moment.
"Uh…emergencies…?" Chad said, a little intimidated by her raised eyebrow.
Sonny just responded with a "Fine. Whatever. Just get that thing away from me." While the Mackenzie Falls star put on his gloves, picked up the bullfrog, went outside and gave Thomas, the frog's owner, a hundred dollar bill.
Sonny sighed, relieved. Chad went inside, expecting to see an infuriated Sonny but was surprised to be welcomed by a pair of lips on his.
"Earth to Sonny! I'M ABOUT TO CRASH INTO A TREE!"
"What? Oh, right. Sorry!" Sonny said while putting her hands on top of his to make him hit the brakes.
Chad sighed, relieved. He turned to her, his smile in tact even though he was screaming for his dear life a few seconds ago.
"Chad?"
"Yeah?"
"You suck at biking. Did you ever ride one when you were a kid?"
"Nope. I was too busy making money. I was and am a man of many talents." Chad responded conceitedly, thinking of when he was still a nine-year-old.
"Chaddy, do you want a bike for Christmas?" Christine Cooper, Chad's thirty year old mother asked her son.
"No thanks, mommy. A mirror would do."
"How about I teach you? My mom thought me when I was five and-"
"No."
"But-"
"No."
"Come on-"
"No."
"No?"
"Yes."
"Yes?"
"Yes."
"Great! Pick me up tomorrow at twelve o'clock and bring your bike!"
"What? Sonny, I said no!" Chad said, hoping he won't have to go so he won't embarrass himself in front of hi girlfriend- or have another concussion.
"No you didn't. You said yes. See ya, Chad!" And with that, Sonny left a gob smacked Chad at the park, still on his brand new bike.
"Damn. Better call Chaz again…"
Sonny Munroe and Chad Dylan Cooper loving each other? Typical.
