She couldn't help it that she was distracted from shopping. Anyone around him wouldn't be. His long dark hair and ruby eyes, along with that aloof attitude… He just oozed sexy! Her fingers spasmodically tightened and loosen on the door's frame as a Cheshire cat grin spread across her lips. The fact that she was even allowing them to get close was a great act of mercy… Hah, stupid women…

He didn't even seem to notice them, turning to examine the fruit and vegetables behind the counter rather than bask in all the attention he was getting. Well, she had to admit that he did deserve it. If it wasn't the looks or personality that got you, it was the very aura of mystery that he admitted. A mysterious dark angel sent down to earth to -

Suddenly chills ran through her and a wave of nausea rolled through her. The woman's wide onyx eyes turned to see one distinctly foreign - distinctly female – hand reach to touch the man's red clothed shoulder. No. Way. In. HELL! It was then that her ninja skills kicked in.

Sprinting quickly to his side, she grabbed his wrist, held it up in the air for all the conniving, lusty women to see. "You can't have him, bitches! He's MINE!" And there, on his left ring finger, glimmered a gold metal circle encasing the digit in tight everlasting clasp. Shing! Sparkle, sparkle! Though the man was puzzled as to the women's actions, the dozen's of women surrounding him hissed like wild she-cats and recoiled as if in pain before leaving the shop.

Yuffie sighed in relief and contentment before releasing Vincent's hand and letting it drop to his side. The aforementioned man raised one brow in query at her. "Yuffie…?"

Hearing her name and seeing his expression she crossed her arms and cried, "What? I'm just protecting what's mine!" When he shook his head, she began to pout. After all, it was only natural to protect one's territory, wasn't it?
