Run!
That was the only thing that I was thinking to myself. Well, more like screaming. Some hooded figure wouldn't stop following me for the last while and I was worried if I stopped running, it might be my last moments.
Scurrying through the forest around me, I jumped around the tree tops as I aimed to get to the village as quickly as possible. I'd be safe if I managed to get there. I couldn't go down like this. I was so close to fulfilling my goal. If only this person would leave me alone.
I stopped dead in my tracks as a kunai flew past my ear, scrapping the top of it, which left my ear bleeding.
"Damn it!" I'd mutter to myself before racing off once more into the darkness of the bottom of the forest. The green trees looked dark against the fading sun across the horizon. Running was one thing. Hiding and dodging incoming weapons. That was a whole another story.
I jumped out of the way as a bunch of explosive tagged kunai were thrown at my feet I went to dodge once more as more tags were thrown, but I missed. The impact threw me across the forest, my back hitting the tree behind me. I knew I was bleeding and badly. I could feel the blood dripping down my back and the excruciating pain from the explosion hitting my back.
"Tsk. Little mouse got caught. Such a shame. You seemed like someone with promise. Seems I was wrong," The cloaked figure says as they easily landed beside me. Trying once more, I attempted to move away from this cloaked figure.
/This wasn't good. At all/ I thought to myself as the pain kept increasing. My vision was becoming slightly blurred and that certainly wasn't good.
"Trying to escape Mouse? Let me help you," The figure says before I found a kunai in my leg. Screams escaped my throat that I had been keeping in and the darkness around me was starting to blend together with my black spotted vision.
"You... evil... bastard," I managed to say before another scream erupted from my mouth as a sharp tip ran across my arm, the cut immediately beginning to bleed.
To my left was a group of voices, arguing as they travelled. I barely noticed them before I lost feeling in my legs.
Slowly, the darkness grew across my vision and I knew soon, I would die of blood loss.
