"Kelly, get down here you can't be late for your first day," Dean yelled from the kitchen down stairs, "It sets a bad tone!" The phone started to ring. Dean finished his daughter's lunch and answered the phone and immediately saying "No means no Sam." and hanging up.
"Uncle Sam calling again?" Kelly said from bottom of the stairs startling her dad a little with her sudden appearance "Umm... yeah." Dean said knowing the question already forming in her mind. "I'm not gonna sign up. Not if you ask me and not if Sam ask me." Kelly grabbed her lunch giving her father a dirty look "Well you should. It could be nice and you could find a great guy." Kelly was fine with her fathers sexuality and reacted fine when she found out, unlike her mother had, but she was long gone so it didn't matter what she thought. "Even if I did sign up I wouldn't have time for any dates, all my time goes straight to you and house work." Kelly looked at him letting him know she knew he was full of crap, "We both know you have tons of free time and need a way to use it. Liiike going on dates." Dean groaned at how well his daughter knew his lies, "Well when you rip out my dignity and every last shred of what makes me, me I will absolutely sign up." Kelly sighed and left for school wishing her father was more open minded to dating again. Her mom had left right after she was born so she didn't know her, but she would love having two parents for once even if it meant two guys under their roof.

The phone started to ring again awhile after Kelly had left so Dean picked it up again, "Sam this had better be pretty damn good and not about me dating again 'cus if it is I will hunt you down and gank your sorry ass!" There was a little hesitation on the other end before Sam spoke "Why not, just tell me why you wont go a a date or even sign up, and don't give me 'I'm far too busy for it.' 'cus we both know that's total crap." Dean was getting frustrated now by all the people that knew his schedule. "I don't wanna go through all the frig'n crap of dating again you bitch and I have a teenage daughter now on top of all that. So thats why Sam!" Dean slammed down the phone and went to his office upstairs to start working. Dean worked as a journalist from home so he could be there for Kelly all the time, it took awhile for him to convince his boss to let him work at home, but when he made the argument that a journalist can type articles at home and then send them into the office before printing day his boss gave in. Plus it gave Dean a reason to sit around all day and watch T.V.
