Upon golden mounds,
As his eyes gleamed at the sight
Our hearts broke within.

The dragon was slain
But the sickness still remained
Our king was insane.

The shimmering Stone
Brought forth our destruction
The king remained cold.

A friend to us all
Had betrayed him to save us,
The king thrown him out.

On the Eve of War
We boldly dared to approach
Our lord uncle,

"Look beyond the wealth
And see that we all suffer
Lest we do something."

"Please, oh please, Uncle
Look at what you have become
And see what we fear."

"Put aside your hate
And look deep within yourself
To find our hero."

"Of one who raised us
Who gave our people hope;
One who brought us Home."

Our plea not in vain
As he felt our secret pain
He then rose again

The Battle's begun
With our spirits blazing bright
We then join the fray.
