i.

She had been in the woods. Long dress, long hair, smile on her lips. She was getting married; Sam was her beloved. No matter what they said.

ii.

Out of no where, a white bunny hopped across her path. She grinned at it, kneeling in an attempt to lure it near her.

"C'mere," she sang, coaxing it closer to her. Finally, it approached, and her finger tips brushed its soft fur.

iii.

She wakes up in a field. Confusion sets in.

"Hello?" she calls out, looking around. She looks down at herself, feeling chilled. She's wearing torn jeans, a tank top-- her hair is cut short, choppy. Gingerly, she feels it, and her once-smiling lips frown. "What's going on?" she questions, and spins around, hearing rustling in the bushes surrounding her.

A boy steps out, blond hair, golden eyes, toothy smile.

"Leah," he breathes, and she steps back.

iv.

"Come on," he says, dragging her behind him. She tries pulling away-- Sam, Sam--

"What is going on?" she demands, however pauses, shocked by the severity of her tone. She isn't like that--

"What do you see, Leah?" the boy-- no, man-- asks, and she blinks at him.

"I--"

"Look," he orders, and she spins around, met with trees and shadows and-- no, not Sam, with--?

It is.

v.

She sobs, and his arms wrap around her. He lifts her chin; "I'm Jasper."

"Get away!" she shrieks, and he stiffens, then pulls away, wry smile on his face.

What's done is done.

"What," she begs, "what did I do? What do you want?"

He leans close to her, honey breath on her face, "You."

Running, she is surrounded by trees. She pauses, trying to catch her breath.

Laughter echoes around her, and her muscles lock.

ii.

She follows the sounds, and is met with a clearing. There, a blonde woman-- so pretty, mesmerizing, wow-- sits, drinking tea with her pinky in the air. Her eyes are violet.

A small brunnette sits next to her, chattering a mile a minute. She turns toward her, and flashes her a grin.

"We've been expecting you!"

iii.

"Ah, Leah," the blonde sneers, "Mary has been telling me so much about you."

She runs.

iv.

Mary clucks her tongue at the woman below her. "Oh, Leah," she says sadly, brushing away the woman's now short hair from her forehead; "we're here to help."

She stares back, eye wide.

"How?"

v.

"Drop him," Rosalie hisses, and iron chains wrap themselves around her. She does not struggle.

"Say something," Mary coaxes.

"Who are you?" she whispers.

They smile; "Your helpers."

i.

They lead her away, in front of an ocean.

"He's waiting," their voices trill.

They never say who.

ii.

"You can always leave,"

She shakes her head.

"Never."

iii.

His name sounds familiar. Dark hair and sad eyes stare at her. He asks if they sent her.

"My fiancé's cheating on me..."

"I am Alice," she whispers.

"What did you see?"

"It wasn't you."

iv.

"You'll leave, anyway."

v.

He smiles at her. "This isn't Wonderland."

"Where's the mad hatter?"

He grins; "He's dead."

"The Cheshire Cat?"

"Sam."

"How do you know?"

"I love you."

"Hasn't anyone ever told you that that's never enough?"
