The library was one of your favorite places in the bunker. It was warm and comfortable and full of books. You didn't care what type of books they were, you were just happy there were books around. The smell was nice and musty.

You sat there on the ground surrounded by books you had chosen to read. You had piles of books around you. They had all kinds of books, surprisingly. Not just demon books but some poetry, novels and classics.

Probably a contribution of Sammy... You thought to yourself. You had been dating Sam for a while, and you really loved him. He was sweet and caring. You loved that he was big and tall. His hands were warm and rough. It sent tingles down your spine just thinking about him.

You looked back at your book. You had just realized that you were on the last page. You skimmed the shelves with your eyes. You spotted a book that you wanted to get... but it was on the very top shelf.

Aw crap. Time to be creative. There was no ladder in sight. You stack the thickest books on top of each other and stood up on them. You reached up. You stretched and stretched your arm, but you couldn't reach the book. You jump a little.

"Ugh... This library discriminates short people..." You mumble.

"Maybe I could help with that." You could hear Sam say behind you. He picked you up by your waist, and sat you on his shoulder. Like he was your perch.

"Thank you, Sammy." You peck his cheek as you grab the book you had in your sights.

"You're welcome, (F/N)." He smiled. Once you grabbed the book he dropped you into his arms and carried you bridal style over to the table.

"Whatcha got there?" He pointed to the book as you settled yourself into his lap. He held your waist.

"Alice's adventure's in wonderland."

"Oooo! A classic."

"Yeah, it's been one of my favorite books since I was a little kid." You set your head on his shoulder.

"Good choice! When I was a kid, I loved to look through Grey's Anatomy. The pictures of skeletons posing always made me laugh."

"They didn't scare you?"

"Nope. I always liked them." He looked at you with big brown eyes that always made you melt.

"You are adorable!" You touched the tip of his nose with your finger.

"Mmm... So are you." His eyelids looked as though they would fall at any second.

"Sammy, you look so tired." You push his bangs out of his eyes.

"I am pretty tired... Hey, could you read me part of the book?" He smiled. He was so sweet.

"Sure. We should get you to bed, though. You look like you're gonna collapse." You giggle.

"Good thinking." Hey picked you up bridal style once again. You squeak in surprise. You buried your face in his chest. It was warm and muscular. He smelled just like books. Only better. He smelled like cinnamon and must. Fabric softener and pine. It was so nice. You lost yourself in him.

You reached the room all to soon.

"We're hear milady." He laid you on the bed and settled in next to you. He hugged your waist and pulled you closer to him. He pressed his face into the crook of your neck. You could feel him smile.

"You still want me to read to you?"

"No, I actually just wanna rest here and take in your sent."

"Oh yeah, that's not creepy at all." You smirk.

"Oh shush." You set the book on your bed side table.

It actually sounded pretty nice. You could feel him breathe evenly and his heart beat. You wrap your arms around his neck and kiss his forehead.

"Night, Sam." You smile and hold him.

"Night (F/N). I love you." He kissed your neck and just like that, you both fall deeply asleep.
