I tell every paragraph from someone elses point of view because I wanted to tell everyone's thoughts about Sana. I hope it doesn't confuse anyone.

First Combat
Jack kept glancing her way despite the staff fire; sure he'd have to baby-sit her. What were they thinking, sending a kid to serve on the flagship team? Despite the fact she was a Tok'ra, she was only 17. He had no love for the Tok'ra, and had absolutely no desire to have one on his team, but even so, he felt, somehow, insanely, responsible for her. He supposed he should want her to die so she was off his team, but he couldn't bring himself to manage it. Shaking his head at his folly he returned his attention to the Jaffa shooting at them.
Sam saw where Jack's attention was directed, and stifled a laugh. If he hated anything more than Tok'ra, it was feeling responsible for one. And it was clear he did indeed feel responsible for Sana, who looked and, occasionally, acted like a teenager. She was, in fact, a teenager on Earth, but on her own world she'd been an adult for several years. It must have been getting very tiresome for her. And Sam knew it would just get worse. When she started seeing the surface, she would always be getting treated like a kid. With a sigh, Sam returned fire, taking down a Jaffa.
Daniel, never very good with a gun, was crouching behind a rock and taking careful aim. His shots didn't always hit their targets, unlike those of Teal'c or his military companions. He glanced curiously at Sana as she fired a staff weapon from next to Teal'c nearby. She seemed to have good aim and a good sense of balance. She also seemed to be laughing. Maybe she and Tani, her symbiote, were doing what Jack did when times were stressed, and telling jokes. That would be the height of irony, he mused wryly, Jack doing the same thing as a Tok'ra.
Teal'c didn't need to look at the Tok'ra beside him to know she was taking down a Jaffa with nearly every shot. She was a very good warrior. He didn't understand O'Neill's reaction to her, as usually he judged people by their merits not their race. But the Tok'ra always were different in his books, the big man mused. It hadn't stopped O'Neill from accepting him, however. Perhaps he saw the Tok'ra differently to Jaffa, though he didn't understand why. He had spent the last four years trying to understand the Tau'ri, and hadn't managed it yet. He doubted he ever would.
Sana was single minded in her determination and focus on the battle. She didn't realise everyone on her team was thinking about her, or than Jack kept glancing at her as if she needed protecting, only the Jaffa before her. Tani was keeping up a steady commentary that made her laugh internally, and her laughter showed on her face. She liked having Tani. She never got lonely anymore. Sometimes she fought with Tani, but mostly they made up very quickly. It was awfully hard to argue with someone in your head. She smiled as she took out Jaffa after Jaffa, and even after she never speculated that her team mates' thoughts were dwelling on the perpetually messy haired blonde girl throughout it.
